| Weary lawmakers and congressional staffers are making backup vacation plans, preparing to work over the holidays. Congress has a habit of finishing up late in December, such as when the Senate passed healthcare reform on Christmas Eve in 2009. But this year is different, as many on Capitol Hill believe that Congress will still be working on a debt deal between Christmas and New Year’s. Much of the whining will go unnoticed by those of us that don´t enjoy the Elected Elite lifestyle. As a matter of fact many of us military families are once again separated during the Holiday Season. Whatever our religious affiliations are it is something that tears at the kids. Nope, these Pols can whine and the MSM can whine for them but they can also Skype like the rest of us. Never mind Hawaiin breaks. Cut the deficit!

blah, blah, blah. Another "fake" story from The Hill. Legislation will be passed late Friday night and then everyone will scurry out of town. Including the Obamas who head to Hawaii for their 21 day (or longer) 4 million dollar (or more)vacation in Hawaii.

Gag. Didn´t they just return from their Thanksgiving break? I don´t see how they manage to work in work days with that vacation schedule they work so hard to keep.
Just think ~ the Obamas will be spending more in 21 days than a person would probably work 2-3 lifetimes to earn.
Did you see the article where they cost $1.5 billion/year and only $800 million are spent on the royals in the UK. No value for our money spent.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election.
