The Best of All Possible Obamas
PJ Media, by Andrew Klavan

Now and then I try to imagine what it would be like if I were wrong. I know — the very thought is absurd. But bear with me. After all, it’s one of the contentions of us right-wingers that leftists, by monopolizing the news media, by framing every debate as an argument between their opinions and some sort of hatred, and by blacklisting the opposition from the entertainment business as well as academia, have put themselves in a position where they never have to defend their policies logically. By avoiding true discussion, they have given

I do believe as the author states that 0bama´s vision is a complete disaster. I disagree with him that 0bama is not evil. He is pure evil in my opinion.

Just more psuedo-intellectual blathering here. The author is afraid to see the truth:
Obama is fundamentally transforming America and it´s Constitution.

Freedom and Liberty require personal responsibility. Has it become too much work to be personally responsible? FTA(average 16 visits per yr. to the Doc.) and in the USA, 4 YRS> NO BUDGET

Let someone else do it for me, has now become the prevalent attitude in this country. Especially notable in Congress.

As evidenced by many "man on the street" interviews, ignorance and apathy are commonplace; especially telling among the university infestation. "I don´t know and I don´t care." The age old joke rings true.

The incidious "Free" Obama Phones come with a sign-up a friend bonus pkg. How telling is this?

Students now expect Obama to forgive their loans because health care and education are a right not a privilege; a privilege taught in ALL grades of public school today.

Just take a close look at all the new executive orders. Where is the Congress? I don´t know and I don´t care. Or is it spelled CAIR.

I like and admire Andrew Klavan. He is part of the PJmedia family and is the author of several books on Conservatism for young people. He has done many informative and charming Klavan on the Culture segments. Andrew goes head to head with the brilliant Bill Whittle and does just fine.

Give the man a chance.

Michelle Obama: Average American
doesn´t ´know much about the military´

First lady Michelle Obama took her campaign to help veterans find jobs to Fort Campbell, Ky.., Wednesday where she said that most Americans don´t know much about the military. Following comments from Jill Biden, the vice president´s wife and Obama´s teammate in helping veterans, she noted that unlike Biden, she had little familiarity with the military prior to campaigning for the White House in 2008. “Unlike Jill, I wasn´t a military mom. I wasn´t a Blue Star family member. I didn´t know much about the military, and I was probably more like the average American,” said Obama.

Safety concerns about

Two recent deaths and increased emergency room visits in Colorado have highlighted concerns about the safety of legal marijuana edibles. Dr. George Sam Wang of Children´s Hospital Colorado says part of the problem is that the effects of edible marijuana begin more slowly than smokeable pot, though they tend to last longer. "One of the dangers that we´ve been seeing with adult recreational retail use is they´ll take the recommended dose, wait, feel no effects and then continue to stack doses. Then before they know it they have a pretty large amount in their system and then they get potentially pretty severe

ECSU Prof Apologizes for

Professor Brent Terry has apologized for slamming the GOP during a creative writing class lecture at Eastern Connecticut State University earlier this week. During the four-minute rant, captured by one student on audio tape, the professor claimed Republicans do not want Latinos, blacks, young people, or old people to vote. He also warned colleges would start closing if the GOP takes control of both the House and Senate in November. State GOP Rep. Leader Larry Cafero (R-Norwalk) demanded Terry apologize for his offensive harangue “as a point of personal privilege.” Only an hour after Cafero made the request on the House

Over 40,000 People Are Registered to

As midterm elections quickly approach, many are starting to think about voting and potential fraud at the polls. And once again, we find that there is cause to be worried about voter fraud here in the U.S. It appears in a new report that 44,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland. A vote-integrity group crosschecked the voter rolls in the two states and found far too many people registered in both states. The group, known as The Virginia Voters Alliance, is going to expand their research into surrounding states like Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, New York,

Antibiotic-resistant superbug MRSA
is now colonizing people’s homes

Avoiding hospitals, gyms and communal showers isn’t a failsafe against getting infected with MRSA — that’s methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus — a new study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggests. Instead, researchers tracing a specific strain of the contagious staph infection found that the bacteria has also been breeding in private households, meaning that homes play a “critical role as reservoirs for transmission.” Nature has the scoop: Researchers examined the prevalence of the USA300 strain in northern Manhattan and the Bronx, where it has caused an epidemic of skin and soft-tissue infections in recent years. In 2009,

Obama’s foreign policy — even

How bad is President Obama’s foreign policy? So bad he sent Vice President Joseph R. Biden to Kiev to handle the Russia-Ukraine mess. That’s right, Barack “Red Line” Obama called in the bumbling Mr. Biden, the foreign policy “expert” who once called for Iraq to be partitioned by ethnicity into three countries and opposed President Ronald Reagan’s military build-up that ended the Cold War. Uncle Joe didn’t disappoint, saying in Kiev: “Thank you for making me feel relevant again.” He, of course, left empty-handed, and perhaps, again, feels irrelevant. How bad is Mr. Obama’s foreign policy? He’s made Russian President Vladimir Putin

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it? It´s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall. Asked, "How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?" 37% replied "most of

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives
