| CNN made official Thursday morning its decision to install Jeff Zucker, the former chief executive of NBC, as the new president of CNN Worldwide. The announcement was the culmination of monthslong search to find a replacement for Jim Walton, who had led CNN to record profits even as ratings for its American network, CNN/U.S., hit record lows. The network announced in July that Mr. Walton would step down at the end of the year.

There´s no reason for liberals to watch the news anymore, since no matter what happens in the economy, the world, or with their own livelihoods, they will always support Obama and the Democrats.
Do liberals care about Benghazi, our towering national debt, or the fiscal-cliff deliberations? Even the President himself doesn´t seem to care about those things.
So the prospect of a liberal news network improving its ratings cannot be favorable. The only people who care about what´s going on the world are Conservatives and moderates, who are already being served by Fox News.
Unless CNN changes its political perspective to at least one ´´fair and balanced´´ enough to attract moderates and Conservatives, they might as well sell the network to someone who will, before its ratings and value decline into nothingness.

Zucker is a complete failure, but that cannot, ever damage Liberalism...he must be held up and promoted because he is a Liberal.

Hey be careful. Looking at the ratings MSNBC has higher ratings than CNN. CNN´s ratings are really pathetic.
One thing they must learn, twisting stories, outright lying or not telling all the news to cover up for Obama is no way to enhance their image. The saddest part is that Liberals cannot comprehend how pathetic this network is but they believe every word they put out.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide.There are a lot of numbers out there.

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
