| President Obama portrays himself as a president who stands up for the most vulnerable in our society. Nursing home patients and their families in Connecticut got a look behind the rhetoric last week. In the name of standing up for workers´ rights, Obama´s National Labor Relations Board -- the one staffed by people he installed through controversial "recess appointments" when the Senate was in session -- sued to have a nursing home reinstate employees who went on strike. The Service Employees International Union members who worked at HealthBridge nursing homes went on strike after rejecting the company´s final offer in contract negotiations.

You know.there´s people on the right that are castigating people for signing succession petitions,calling them impracticable or people wouldn´t be able to survive without federal money coming to their states.
I can perfectly understand why people are doing it,whether the movement goes anywhere or not.We´re living under a half ass communist dictator who reviles all this country stands for and looting the treasury to keep the dems voting base happy.
These people have totally co-opted the AARP,a membership that millions of seniors rely on for truthful information. They just sent out a propaganda newsletter that reassured their members that Medicare is fine and Obamacare poses no threat.Of course these poor old people eat it up and pat themselves on the back for voting for Obama.
Unfortunately they don´t see what a demonic person Obama is behind the scenes.He fully intends to deny these people treatment at some point,blaming their own behavior for their heath problems.
If you´re a college grad/retired gov´t worker and in your 70´s or 80´s,the death panels will deem you worthy of a couple more life extensions vs. a coal miner or smoker at the same age who got what was coming to him.Political decisions will be made on your treatment instead of simple humanity.
All you have to do is look at the cold hearted British system who literally let people die of thirst.

The first lady went to Bowie State and addressed the graduating class. Her speech was a mix of black history and a salute to the graduates. (Snip) It takes a man of particular vision to know, as Obama did, that the country really was ready to send an African American to the White House. But I also think that some day historians will pore over his many speeches to black audiences. They will see a president who sought to hold black people accountable for their communities, but was disdainful of those who looked at him and sought the same.

One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
