Why African-American Voters
Still Support Jesse Jackson Jr.

As many wait to see whether Jesse Jackson Jr. will agree to a plea deal in the investigation of allegations that he misused campaign funds—and as Jackson himself reportedly awaits news on whether he’ll get disability pay if he indeed does resign—an even larger question looms for the voters of Jackson’s 2nd congressional district in Illinois. Where do they go from here? Jackson was elected to his 10th term in Congress last week, even as he struggled with health issues and an ongoing ethics investigation. Though he didn’t campaign for reelection as he was receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic

African Americans continue to support Jesse Jackson Jr, because of his great intellect and high moral principles.

Black people don´t make moral judgments on other black people,it´s really that simile.Another convicted crook from a Chicago district got reelected also and of course Obama won the big prie despite being the most corrupt president in modern times.Obama screwed poor people out of billions by giving it to his big donor white supporters but they didn´t see that.

Of course you have Jackson jr. supporters out of loyalty for what the old man did for the "movement".

Why isn´t Jackson´s wife being prosecuted when she had to be the one picking out the new curtains and furniture?

There is a difference between trying not to judge others for their misdeeds and electing a mentally ill felon as your representative in Washington, a distinction that obviously millions of voters don´t get. In the meantime, the permanent victim mentality of the black race lives on.

It boils down to the 19th century literature and early 20th century music "trickster" myth. This rascal uses wiles against others for personal gain like Joel Chandler´s Brer Rabbit. Great fun for those who fail to see that the trickster has his hand in the African American pocket too.

The trickster motif goes back way before Joel Chandler Harris. The wily servant in Jacobean drama, for example. JJJr isn´t even a good example of the type.

Perhaps a minor point, but...Mike Tyson did not rape that young woman.
He was a judge at a black beauty pageant, and made it clear to all of the contestants that he was interested in having sex with one of them that evening. And in the wee hours of the morning, he sent his limo to pick up the alleged victim, to deliver her to his hotel.
She went to his room, they watched a movie, and afterwards, she testified that she went to the bathroom, removed her panty liner, and went back to the bed. Tyson asked her if she wanted to be on the top or the bottom.
She said, ´top´ and did so, they had coitus, and he sent her away, without escorting her downstairs and back to the limo. She was offended by that, and filed charges.
The state of Indiana hired a hot shot attorney to act as special prosecutor, and Mike Tyson was railroaded, even after testifying credibly.
Justice was not served in the case of Mike Tyson.
Please don´t compare the nutcase known as congressman jackson, who looted his campaign funds to fly his mistress (not merely a female friend) to and from D.C. for carnal pleasure, to Mike Tyson. And jackson spent an additional 40.000 dollars on a rolex for his mistress. She must have some unique talents...

Scam artists on the make like Jesse sr and his crew should have been run out of town on a rail for the way they tried to exploit the death of MLK. MLK must be crying real tears because of the total corruption of his message by the Jacksons, Sharptons, etc. Shockingly, after all these decades, white people appreciate and grasp MLK´s message more than the voter base of Jackson.

Look at Africa and all the greatness on display there. It is in the genes. South Africa was better than many European countries in its prime but liberals and communist blacks (Mandela) got the world media and opinion to help them slaughter the Dutch immigrants and other white farmers and now you have one of the most violent countries on the continent. Rhodesia was the bread basket of Africa & very prosperous but world opinion (liberals) crushed until this day white achievers and gave the world Mugabe and dispair. Now everyone is equally miserable. Coming to the USA on the fast track!

#24, so what´s in the genes of Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Star Parker, Shelby Steele, Allen West, Janice Rogers Brown, Walter Williams, J.C. Watts, Deneen Borelli,
Alan Keyes, Herman Cain, etcetera, etcetera???

I suggest it´s nurture, not nature. If mankind were limited by its genes, America would never have arisen from the castaways, runaways, ne´er-do-wells, and dregs of the rest of the world.

Illinois has gerrymandered the districts in such a way that every Republican seat won in 2010 was taken back by the Democrats in 2012. There are cases where far away Republican suburbs are connected by a thin line drawn for miles so that it connects into the city, where Democrats dominate. Jesse´s district is probably like that.

The answer is very simple, he is a Democrat and they live on the Democrat Plantation.

They have no clue what freedom is really like they only understand dependancy and handouts provided by the liberal DNC.
The liberals do not believe that a black person has the capabilities to survive and prosper on their own so they must be cared for like a slow (retarded) child.

He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances.
