This afternoon, President Barack Obama consulted with MSNBC host Al Sharpton, who´s also assicated with the National Action Network (NAN), about the fiscal talks between the White House and Congress. At the same meeting, Obama also consulted with other "leaders of civil rights and civic organizations." Via the pool report: President Obama and Vice President Biden met with leaders of civil rights and civic organizations to discuss negotiations over how to avoid the fiscal cliff. The meeting lasted over an hour, and participants spoke to reporters outside the West Wing after they wrapped up. Per the White House,

More reparations?
Is there such a thing as "white money" and "black money"?
Or aren´t we all in this mess together because of the incompetence of this Administration?
How about meeting with leaders from other constituencies?

Agree with #4. 0bama is not serious about the fiscal state of our country.

Oh yeah, all prominent financial and economic experts. When a president invites racists and agitators like this to the White House for consultation, it leaves no doubt this nation is in big trouble. Elections have consequences. No one has done more to diminish the office of president than this doofus.

Tripling down on a hard left turn.

Time to meet with MSNBC stooges, can´t even pick up the phone to negotiate with the GOP leaders in the House (where all money bills are supposed to start, which includes stuff like Obamacare, if Chief Justice Ding Dong John Roberts would ever bother to read the Consitution).

I expect the edict to be issued on December 30 that Obama is declaring a state of emergency, some sort of happy-face martial law, and impose whatever tax rate he wants.

And still cut defense by half as the new Arab/Iranian-Israeli war starts.

Get familiar with the concept "disparate impact."

An organization can be accused of "discrimination" if its mix of employees does not meet government expected quotas even if this occurred unintentionally.

There is going to have to be a revolt or outright revolution. This is OUR country and we cannot allow racial terrorists to ruin it. Al Sharpton will burn in hell, no doubt, but I don´t want him anywhere near our white house. Obama was not raised here and acts as if he literally had to sit in the back of the bus or had hoses turned on him. He is anti white and anti America. This cannot stand.

A Wall Street Journal editorial socks it to the president and his hands-off management style. Every day brings new revelations about who knew what about the IRS targeting conservative groups during President Obama´s re-election campaign, but the overall impression is of a vast federal bureaucracy run amok. While the White House continues to peddle the story of a driverless train wreck, taxpayers are being treated to a demonstration of the dangers of an unwieldy and unaccountable administrative state. Look, Ma, no hands! In his press events, Mr. Obama has said that while he learned about the Cincinnati rogues

LONDON- Two British men of Nigerian descent accused of hacking a soldier to death on a London street in revenge for wars in Muslim countries were known to security services, a source close to the investigation said Thursday. One man, filmed calmly justifying the killing as he stood by the body holding a knife and meat cleaver in bloodied hands, was named by acquaintances as 28-year-old Londoner Michael Adebolajo - a British-born convert to radical Islam. So frenzied was the attack, some witnesses thought they tried to behead the victim.

Ford Motor Co. One particular email, dated September 21, 2010 discussed President Obama’s “Leak Investigations.”

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama on Thursday is expected to address some of the thornier aspects of national security policy, including drone strikes, the prison at Guantanamo Bay and the dire threats Americans continue to face , even from fellow citizens. President Obama will announce Thursday that the White House plans to lift the ban on sending detainees from Guantanamo Bay to Yemen, Fox News confirms, a move that could effectively resume efforts to close down the prison. That effort, however, has been stymied because many countries don´t want the detainees or are unwilling or unable to guarantee that once transferred, detainees who may continue to be a threat will not be released. There are currently about 166 prisoners at Guantanamo, and 86 have been approved for transfer as long as security restrictions are met.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy.
