The story surrounding the former CIA Director David Petraeus´s resignation continues to become more bizarre. The Wall Street Journal is reporting: A federal agent who launched the investigation that ultimately led to the resignation of Central Intelligence Agency chief David Petraeus was barred from taking part in the case over the summer due to superiors´ concerns that he had become personally involved in the case, according to officials familiar with the probe. New details about how the Federal Bureau of Investigation handled the case suggest that even as the bureau delved into

Enough with the SMOKE screens. Who is investigating the treason and the murder of 4 American citizens in Benghazi? We cannot count on Congress.
.... I have learned that ONLY the president could issue the call which denied protection in Benghazi.

The Obama administration, however, is certain about the IGNORANCE of America´s citizens. They may be right.

It appears that this particular FBI agent was a friend of the lady before all this happened, and that he is the individual she first showed Broadwell´s supposedly threatening e-mails. This agent is then said to have given them to the FBI at Tampa who opened an investigation of Broadwell and her e-mail traffic. It is not like this agent was assigned to conduct the investigation of Broadwell and then send the photograph of himself to someone he did not know personally for some time.

This has degenerated into a titillating sex scandal which overshadows the serious questions about the Obama administration´s role in the Berganzi tragedy. Looks like Obama wins again.

The FBI agent is a friend of Kelley´s. According to theconservativetreehouse.com, she turned to him first about the emails. Later when nothing much was done about the emails (by the FBI) he is apparently the same FBI agent who tipped off Eric Cantor.

PS. I would slow down the kneejerk judgements here. Remember that we are essentially dealing with Obama and the Chicago Way.

Let´s not let him dupe us. That would be sad.

Someone mentioned Breitbart is "down the memory hole". On the contrary, Breitbart lives through each of us who doesn´t accept as fact and swallow whole every story that comes out of the Obama administration and/or anyone who works for it.

Andrew would be into this with both hands.

Ooooh, look over there!! A squirrel with no shirt on. Is this really the best we can do?
This is what should be occupying the prime space in our minds and on news websites? After an election so blatantly, in-your-face stolen from right under your noses?
After two months of contradictory lie after inconsistent lie coming from Obama, Clinton, etc. concerning Benghazi?

Well, if nothing else, Obama and his nasty crew can take comfort and rest reassured that it´s impossible to underestimate the attention span or IQ of the American public. They´re home free.

A Bronx teacher fired after a student complained about her use of a racial slur says the whole thing is just a ridiculous case of meaning lost -- literally -- in translation. Petrona Smith, 65, was a non-tenured teacher at the bilingual school PS 211 until March 2012, when she was fired after a student complained of being called "negro" and "a failure." But Smith, who is black and a native of the West Indies, said the student misunderstood her meaning: she was using the word "negro," the word for the color black in Spanish

The murder of a soldier in south London on Wednesday has prompted fears of a backlash against British Muslims after the English Defence League staged an impromptu rally in the capital and two mosques were attacked. The BNP leader, Nick Griffin, has also reacted to the killing with provocative tweets calling for a protest in Woolwich and claiming the crime is the result of "mass immigration". Farooq Murad of the Muslim Council of Britain said the EDL´s rally in London on Wednesday night was cause for concern. "When attacks like these happen there´s always the danger of far-right extremism

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. - The Interstate 5 bridge collapse into the Skagit River was caused by an oversize truck hitting the span, the Washington State Patrol chief said. "For reasons unknown at this point in time the semi struck the overhead of the bridge causing the collapse," Batiste told an overnight news conference. The truck made it off the bridge and the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Two other vehicles went into the water Thursday evening as the structure crumbled. Three people were rescued and are recovering. Drivers should expect delays

WASHINGTON — When President Barack Obama pushed his health care overhaul plan through Congress, he counted labor unions among his strongest supporters. But some unions leaders have grown frustrated and angry about what they say are unexpected consequences of the new law — problems that they say could jeopardize the health benefits offered to millions of their members. The issue could create a political headache next year for Democrats facing re-election if disgruntled union members believe the Obama administration and Congress aren´t working to fix the problem.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Federal forecasters are predicting yet another busy hurricane season. Thursday´s outlook calls for 13 to 20 named storms, seven to 11 that strengthen into hurricanes and three to six that become major hurricanes. The prediction by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is more than what is considered an average Atlantic season. Last year was the third-busiest on record with 19 named storms. Ten became hurricanes and two were major storms, with winds over 111 mph. That included Sandy, which caused $50 billion in damage even though it lost

Islamist militants have staged twin suicide car bombings on an army base and a French-run uranium mine in Niger, killing at least 20 people in retaliation for the country´s military involvement in neighbouring Mali. Niger´s Defence Minister Mahamadou Karidjo said the last Islamist was neutralised at the army base and denied early reports that a suicide attacker had held young army recruits hostage. The attacks come just four months after al-Qa´ida linked militants seized a desert gas plant in neighbouring Algeria in a siege that left 38 hostages dead, also in retaliation against the intervention in Mali.

WASHINGTON — Yemen welcomed President Barack Obama´s decision Thursday to lift a moratorium on transferring prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to the Gulf country. Obama announced the decision in a major speech outlining a new bid to close the "war on terror" prison, saying history will "cast a harsh judgment" on the offshore detention program and those who failed to end it. He said he would lift a moratorium in place on transfers of Yemeni detainees to their homeland, name a new envoy to handle the transfers, and ordered the Pentagon to designate a site in the United States

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
