| Although America carried President Obama confidently into a second term last Tuesday - not everyone is jumping for joy at the prospect of four more years. Tens of thousands have put their names to secession petitions in 20 states, asking that they peacefully become independent from the rest of the country. The documents have been lodged on a government website We The People - and Texas has almost enough people behind its petition to warrant an official White House response. 1) I have wanted to split up the US since long before this election. My desire to divorce the blue states is only punctuated by the Obama win. If Romney won, I would still support dissolution of the USA -- the federal government is too big and too onerous and we need a reset. The blue states seem happy with the federal government, so let them have it, just let the red states do their own thing.
2) Texas has hit the 25,000 mark.
3) #2 Obama is a symptom. The disease is much greater than he is. Nearly 50% of this country supported him. They won´t go away in four years. They hate us. I hate them. Divorce sounds very good to me.

How can you be sure he will be gone in 4 years? There are ways to keep him as president for most of a third term if democrats control both houses of Congress in 2017. Check amendment XXII Section 1 and Amendment XXV Sections 1 and 2. Note the terminology; "elected," "nominate" and "confirmed" and figure out how it could constitutionally be done. They could get away with it.

#6 is right. Nothing would prevent 0bama from running as Vice President in 2016. Then whatever stooge gets elected at the top of the ticket can resign right after inauguration and 0bama would get his third term.

Sigh...........we are in the huge blue part of California. We are here until my 90 y/o Mom goes to her final reward. Would love to move to a totally blue state...so tired of the lefties here...altho we are in the country, we are only 3 hours north of the Bay Area. They come up here and buy up cheap properties, and bring their liberal ideas with them. Ugh.

Read the comments at the ned of article. For winners, the libtards are acting like the biggest losers. I thought their anger would die down after the election. They´re worse than they ever were. US President Barack Obama touched down in Belfast today amid the biggest security operation ever mounted in Northern Ireland. Air Force One arrived at Aldergrove International Airport, 20 miles north of the city, where the President emerged from the plane with his wife, Michelle, and two daughters, Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11. Iran is preparing to send 4,000 troops in to Syria to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the wake of America´s announcement it will be providing ´military aid´ to the country´s Muslim rebels.
