| The Associated Press has now identified the "other woman" in the Petraeus scandal. She is 37-year old Jill Kelley of Tampa Bay, Florida. Kelley is the State Department´s liaison to the military´s Joint Special Operations Command, the AP reports, citing an unnamed official. A mutual acquaintance of Kelley and Petraeus confirms that they are friends. (Snip) Google searches suggest that Jill Kelley may be married to Dr. Scott Kelley of Tampa. The couple were featured in 2007 in Tampa Bay Magazine in the photo spread below (left):

If Broadwell ended her affair with Petraeus, why would she harrass his new fling? That still doesn´t make sense.

Amazing. E-mail story breaks, a few hours later we know the other womans name, an hour later a photo. In another hour or two we´ll have quotes from the e-mails. All from anonymous officials who aren´t authorized to speak.

This is very tacky. David Petraeus´ behavior seems to have been appalling but these women need to take the blame too. They knew he was a married man with a family. The lack of responsibility of women in this whole scenario seems to be a stand-out feature.
It takes two to tango, whether on a dance floor or under a desk.

Gee those State Dept. babes sure do get around. The way hillary was acting this year she must be running one heck of a fancy house. Of course she has to resign too. She might have learned that sec. State isn´t #3 in line to the White House. Will Obe nominate Jarret to officially run the nation´s social affairs ?It´s no longer the State department for political affairs --or is it?

It´s amazing how the AP can find dirt on someone when they have been told to. Meanwhile the stench from the open manure pit that is the White house is not noticed. Let´s ruin half a dozen lives to keep the president looking clean.

#7- if you read other articles about Broadwell and Petraeus you will see she met him in 2006 and had been pursuing a relationship with him all these years. Long before Obama was Pres or had any interest in Petraeus much less have any reason or the ability to set him up.

Been faithfully married 28 years, sure there is temptation out there, but as a mature adult you find a way to deal with it without breaking your marriage vows. This affair was known by many people for some time, it very convenient that this becomes ´news´ right before testimony in LybyaGate.

You cad David...or will you take an oath to tell the truth to the American people?
If all else fails...will his wife whisper in his ear to tell the truth, the whole truth of what he knows and does not know about this Libya, Bengazi problem?
For our democracy, I wish that he would.
However, Obama-Mao has been winning too many of these dirty events...
When will his luck run out?

After Monica´s blue dress and the failure of Clinton to ever be seriously reprimanded for lying about it, I honest to God do not care if Petraeus had been sleeping with an over 18 cheer-leading squad of consenting women.
Don´t.

That Kelly woman looks like a lot of other girls in the skin-flicks on ---other parts of the net. Paula seems very nice but, with her drive to achieve, David may have been a sitting duck.
I still maintain that if all the time and effort mankind has spent "foolin´ around," we could have been colonizing Mars this year and off to Jupiter next year. Hey...but that´s life!!

ARDMORE, Pa. — Phil Mickelson is in a familiar position once again at the U.S. Open — to either finally close out a win in a tournament he truly cherishes or to suffer yet another maddening close call. Mickelson, a four-time major champion but the only player to finish runner-up five times in the U.S. Open, shot even-par 70 Saturday in the third round of the U.S. Open at unyielding Merion Golf Club and has a one-shot lead heading into Sunday´s final round.

LOS ANGELES — A farewell note left behind by the Santa Monica gunman expressed remorse for the killing of his father and brother but provided no explanation for the rampage that left them and three others dead. Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks said that the three- to four-page handwritten note was found on John Zawahri´s body (Snip)Zawahri apparently built his own .223-caliber assault rifle, using it to shoot his father and brother before he set fire to their family home, officials said earlier Thursday.

When President Obama makes his first extended trip to sub-Saharan Africa this month, the federal agencies charged with keeping him safe won’t be taking any chances. Hundreds of U.S. Secret Service agents will be dispatched to secure facilities in Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania. A Navy aircraft carrier or amphibious ship, with a fully staffed medical trauma center, will be stationed offshore in case of an emergency. Military cargo planes will airlift in 56 support vehicles, including 14 limousines and three trucks loaded with sheets of bulletproof glass to cover the windows of the hotels

It first begins with a peculiar, bitter smell.(Snip)Get sufficiently exposed, and you may faint or even die. These are the effects of pepper spray, the chemical that was used by the Turkish police against peaceful sit-in protesters who tried to protect one of Istanbul’s few remaining green spaces against a controversial reconstruction plan in Taksim Square on May 28. Undercover police then proceeded to set fire to the tents left behind by escaping protesters — with all their belongings in them — despite the protesters’ pleas. For many people, this was the last drop in the glass, which

A white male potential juror identified on his Facebook page as Jerry Counelis gave long, rambling answers about his impartiality when asked basic questions by attorneys. Counelis, known as panelist E-7, said he was an unemployed painter and musician and had no problem being sequestered if chosen to serve on the jury.

Score one for pushy parents. “Personal responsibility” is a theme frequently drawn upon by people addressing the social problems of the day, including problems that face black communities. (Snip) The bigger problem is that a message that exclusively focuses on personal responsibility without an accompanying clarion call for society itself to improve gives us only half of the answer. No one exemplifies this problem more than Bill Cosby, who recently dictated an editorial to the New York Post in which he said, “There is this situation where people tend to think that we are all victims. Victim meaning somebody else is doing

In the latest black eye for the scandal-ridden State Department, a whistleblower claims she was run out of the foreign service after complaining about a consul general’s alleged office trysts with subordinates and hookers.Kerry Howard says she was bullied, harassed and forced to resign after she exposed US Consul General Donald Moore’s alleged security-threatening shenanigans in the Naples, Italy, office. As the post’s community-liaison officer, Howard was charged with keeping workplace peace and advising higher-ups on the state of morale, but when she revealed allegations about her boss, State Department officials swept it under the rug,

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

Jeb Bush says he’s not worried that his work toward comprehensive immigration reform and his ties to the GOP establishment will alienate conservatives and negatively impact a potential 2016 presidential campaign, referring to critics as “the chirpers.” “If I decide to run for office again, it will be based on what I believe, and it will be based on my record,” the former Florida governor said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody. “And that record was one of solving problems completely from a conservative prospective.” Bush (R) pointed to his conservative

As NewsBusters reported last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called out vulgarian comedian Bill Maher for referring to her Down Syndrome son Trig as "retarded." On ABC´s The View Monday, co-host Barbara Walters astonishingly defended Maher saying, "I don´t think he intended it to be mean-spirited" (video follows with transcript and commentary): WHOOPI GOLDBERG: At a recent standup show in Las Vegas, comedian Bill Maher apparently called Sarah Palin’s five-year-old developmentally-challenged son Trig retarded. Politico’s Playbook has an excerpt from a new Ryan Lizza piece from the New Yorker that is not yet online. It contains a passage on the back-and-forth between labor and the Chamber that has a quote from a Rubio staffer that is going to raise eyebrows, to say the least: “There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it. There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.” Here is the entire context:
