| One overlooked influence on Barack Obama's political philosophy and governing style (if those are the terms I'm groping for) involves the Islamosocialist dictator typical of Islamic states during the mid-20th century. This class of ruler was washed up in the wake of the colonial period, as the Western imperial states retreated with no serious efforts to assure stable governments left behind them. Strongmen then stepped into the vacuum.

The left can't figure out why people would oppose government enforced equality. Well for one thing it isn't fair to the person who's earned what they have.People shouldn't get the amenities of a working person simply by pumping out a fatherless brat. People who live in poverty in this country would be considered middle or upper class in a lot of other countries, especially with living space.
It's really not a money thing but a get even thing for the left. Money is just a measuring stick of how far you can "punish the enemies".
Government liberals think they're entitled to their spoils because they're the arbiters of fairness. They want diverse neighborhoods for everyone but themselves.Even in the liberal bastion of Martha's Vineyard, blacks are roped off in their own hoods.I always laugh when I see the term "the black upper crust". They still haven't buried George Jefferson.

What the brotherhood doesn't understand is that Obama's goal is not to LIFT them out of poverty ... but to give them lots of company by enslaving many more Americans, including the employers who would have paid their salaries.

FTA: ''This is the real danger of electing someone who does not have an actual American background, whose character and ideas were formed in utterly different social and political milieus.''
This is the simplest & most concise argument ''why'' 0bama should never have been elected, let alone reelected. An example would be that 0bama was schooled for the twenty years in his pastor's [Jeremiah Wright] ideology of hate and racism, and damning America and repeating that sermon to the survivors of Hurricane Sandy as pResident.

"We have never settled solely political disputes with roaring machine guns or blazing pistols. The fact that this country has been run for four years by a man whose thoughts and ideas were formed in such conditions is, over and above anything else, an absurdity to the highest degree. It is a historical mistake that demands correction."
Please, God, let that correction occur today.

J R Dunn writes an absolutely brilliant look back into Obama's sick influences not yet examined. Dunn has genius. Must read! This article clarifies the depth of Obama'a cultural sickness. Imagine Nasser and Sukarno as his hereos - not Jefferson and Lincoln. If he wins we are really in for trouble unlike any second termer ever. He will have to be impeached for Benghazi and about ten other crimes.

The Senate will be 0's impeachment insurance if he somehow survives tonight, unless it all goes R. Hard to believe the current R leadership in the House would even attempt impeachment if there was no chance of conviction and removal.

There is one thing that upsets me when I read about how the fascists/commies do quid pro quo - give money to leftist political campaigns! Don't be idiots: they give money to leftist politicians! Why do you think in all dictatorial countries the bureaucrats have gazzilions in offshore accounts? Look at russian, ukrainian, chinese, mexican, etc billionaires. Where did they get their money from? Hard work? (Although it was hard to eliminate the competitors!)

Glad to see this MUST READ, because it certainly is! Explains so very much which we need to be aware of. We MUST look back and learn the historical lessons from the last century in order to not repeat the very same mistakes! Thank to, J.R. Dunn, for this timely, insightful & important analysis!
...From the long lines of determined voters we we saw when we voted this morning, we were reassured that we will soon see America the Beautiful's ship of state back on its Constitutional, 'compass,' course of Liberty with new leadership faithful to EACH ONE'S oath of office! Everyone was smiling as we thankfully and happily cast our ballots. What a joy it was to VOTE!!! God bless the USA.

I love the occasional experiment when Americans are presented with leftist ideas. Where cookies cost Asians more than Caucasian who pay more than Hispanics or Blacks. Or when someone proposes distribution of wealth by distributing Halloween candy or grade point average. Despite all the coaching from leftists in school, the American reaction is: that is not right, I worked for that! That is not Obama's reaction.

This article lays to rest many impressions I had of The Won. I found it simply fascinating that he would allow the adoption of the Che persona in marketing his image during the first campaign. If found it rather pompous and irritating that he would use grandiose faux backdrops in his political speeches. I found it absolutely insulting that his manner of communicating with the masses seemed like a know-it-all who condescends to communicate with the unworthy.
He is and does behave as a Third World demigod. I pray that after tonight we can bid him good riddance, and hold out hope that the likes of him may never darken the door of leadership again.

Spectacular article. I’ve been thinking this for about a year, and wish I could put it in words as he did. There’s no question that the communist countries of the 20th century will be considered passé in history, but meanwhile, look at the damage they’ve done. And most of the tyrants got there, like Fidel, because they stepped in with grandiose but nonsensical ideas because there was a vacuum. Imagine a 33-year-old jerk living in the mountains taking over a wonderful country for nearly 60 years, and only 90 miles away!! This Cult of Personality mentality is truly dangerous, especially since we know that even the “intelligentsia” and teachers are idiots!! Thank the lord for 8 year term limits. BTW, all the dems in politics know this guy is a fraud, but they stick to him because he has the power at the moment, which they are drawn to like moths to a flame…..

The current abusive conduct by the IRS is breathtaking in its audacity. When you look at last Friday´s testimony Acting Commisioner Steven Miller there is a clear disconnect -- the doesn´t think anyone did anything illegal, unconstitutional, or even wrong. Apart from a stark posture of arrogance and negative body language, he represents a very large group of people we need to worry about. This guy is beyond zealotry -- he has gone straight to certainty that he is right, his actions are justified and he can´t be touched. He´s like Obama´s buddy Bill Ayers

After running an errand at the Courthouse, I decided to pop into the Barrister Bar and Bistro for a quick bite. The place was packed and Charlie, the maitre d´, shrugged his shoulders apologetically. "There´s a huge party here this afternoon, but I can seat you at the bar if you don´t mind." I didn´t mind and was happy to see that my favorite bartender, Joe, was at work, I pulled out USA Today and read until he was free: "After February 2010, the IRS didn´t approve a single Tea Party tax-exempt application until spring 2012

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

By all accounts, today´s college campuses grow more intolerant by the day. We move closer to the old Soviet Empire, where political dissidents risked the gulag for even joking about Marxism. In the U.S., however, the hate crimes concern anything that touches on race, ethnicity, gender differences, diversity, and sexuality (see here and here). Even an old-fashioned ethnic joke almost guarantees mandatory counseling. Skeptics need only look at the pervasiveness of campus speech codes, coerced sensitivity training, the mandatory injection of multicultural propaganda into courses, and other top-down censorship.

BALTIMORE — Trying to reset the agenda amid scandal in Washington, President Barack Obama turned his attention Friday to the economy and said lawmakers should spend every day resolute on how to help it grow and get people back to work. “Our focus cannot drift,” he said. After a week that put him on the defensive and consumed by a trio of political controversies, Obama left the turmoil behind on a short helicopter flight about 40 miles north to Baltimore. The city has had its share of tough times in its move from an industrial to service economy

"We´ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing do to with," said Hillary Clinton to the families of the four Americans killed at Benghazi and others gathered at a September 2012 memorial service. Her boss, President Barack Obama, had been reciting the same lie in one forum after another in the days following the September 11 attack on the American outpost in Benghazi. To give the lie credence, his Justice Department immured the producer of the video, a Coptic Christian named Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, in a West Texas prison.

President Obama is shattering the illusions of his supporters, and eyes are opening, even among his former media allies. As if waking from a slumber, a newly aggressive White House press corps yesterday raked Jay Carney over the coals over various lies and evasions, prompting Megyn Kelley of Fox News to quip, "What´s happened? Who are these reporters who showed up here?" They are disillusioned and angry liberals who are starting to grasp that they have been lied to, who realize that a skeptical stance is necessary

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care
