Obama Declared Winner of
Second Debate (No Matter What)

American Thinker, by Daren Jonescu

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 10/16/2012 8:29:15 PM

President Obama will "win" tonight's debate, completely obliterating the memory of the first debate. And this will be true even if President Obama is completely humiliated in tonight's debate. President Obama was so thoroughly trounced in the first debate that even his most ardent -- not to say besotted -- supporters were forced to admit it. They were caught flat-footed, as their very love for Obama engendered an assumption of invincibility, just as, the first time Mike Tyson faced an earnest opponent, his corner men did not even have a proper ice pack

Still 30 min. away but the intoxicating aroma of chipotle garlic cheddar popcorn hangs heavy in the air.

The buzz of the blender...

The charlar of friends...

The whine of the lefties...

Life is good.

Direct question - do you support your energy secretary's comments that lowering gas prices is not part of your policy... great question, Obama avoiding direct answer. His energy sec. is part of the problem. Gov Romney: let's look at the policies.. yes! Oil production down on federal land. Why? Cut in half the # of licenses and permits. Mitt's totally winning on this answer.

Actually, Obama has raised taxes on middle class and lower-income earners. Next year, flexible spending account deductions are limited to $5,000. And the health care deduction is raised from 7.5% to 10%. This really hurts people who don't make that much and may well exceed the 7.5% limit.

More than predictably, Boss Hogg Crowley has twice stopped Romney from replying to lies by Obama. Obama was so emboldened that he tried interrupting and talking over Mitt himself. Mitt effectively told him to shut up, sit down, and wait his turn. Obama did.

I meant to say that flexible spending accounts are limited to $2,500--formerly $5,000. This is another tax increase on the middle class.

The moderator so far is letting Obama rebut every time he wants to, but Romney gets cut off. Every time Romney lands one, she turns to Obama and says, Oh, Really, is is True??? She doesn't do that the other way around. I truly wonder if she knows this is not fair.

Romney is presenting solid policies which actually address the fiscal disasters which have been created by 0bama's radical lefty statist policiesthroughout the past 4 years. In response, 0bama just repeats his same old failed ideas. He has no logical excuses for the horrible results of his agenda but insists he plans to continue those same already failed policies.

0bama repeatedly proclaims, (-deems?!), he wants his BIG Government, ''to control,'' energy!?!! This guy does not understand the blessings of America's free enterprise system, nor doe he respect the innovations for the future and JOBS capitalism provides! 0bama thinks ONLY government should be, ''in control?!'' -YIKES!!

Unbelievable. President interrupts, moderator lets him. Romney wants the rest of his time without interruption, moderator points to people waiting to talk and hurries Romney. Then Obama gets to stand up and make a peroration off topic.

Social Security stops trying

Washington Post, by Marc Fisher    Original Article

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Despite promises to the contrary, it appears that State Senator Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) voted on bills that affect her clients and favorably impact the bottom line of her law firm. “I have never done anything in a way that represents a conflict in my voting and something that would benefit me personally,” she said in an interview, but state records seem to tell a different story. The Dallas Morning News´ Senior Political Writer Wayne Slater (DMN) reported that Davis supported legislation governing a toll road project. That would be all well and good except for the fact that the

Democrats Lose Two More Special

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat. The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev. Mr. Kornze issued a statement Saturday saying that the bureau would return the cattle and withdraw its agents from the ranch

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. In promoting legislation that would extend unemployment benefits, increase the minimum wage and promote equal pay for women, the Democrats have declared themselves the party that will ensure a “fair shot” for all. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

On a trip to Moscow early in her tenure as secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton played the role of international saleswoman, pressing Russian government officials to sign a multibillion-dollar deal to buy dozens of aircraft from Boeing. A month later, Clinton was in China, where she jubilantly announced that the aerospace giant would be writing a generous check to help resuscitate floundering U.S. efforts to host a pavilion at the upcoming World’s Fair. Boeing, she said, “has just agreed to double its contribution to $2 million.” Clinton did not point out that, to secure the donation, the State Department

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Less than a minute into his speech at the Boston marathon bombing memorial on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden went tragically off script and told the crowd of Boston bombing survivors that "it was worth it." After expressing how impressed he was with the tribute, he said somberly, "let me say to those ´quote survivors,´ my God, you have survived and you have soared. It was worth it. I mean this sincerely - just to hear each of you speak. You´re truly, truly inspiring." The audience sat in stunned silence until Biden declared, "I´ve never heard anything so beautiful than

People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No
