Cutter: Benghazi Is Only an Issue
‘Because of Romney and Ryan’

Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said Thursday that the “entire reason” the terrorist attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans has “become the political topic it is” is because Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan talk about the attack. (snip)Cutter’s remarks drew immediate criticism from across the political spectrum.

Benghazi is an issue because four Americans were killed.

Sorry staff - bad timing on posting this article right behind this one).

This is a gift. Just because Obama and his administration find it unconfortable to talk about it, it is not an "issue"? You can't define issues in this manner. What cry babies these people are becoming. Perhaps Big Bird can soothe the hurt.

Well, then, thank heavens Romney and Ryan are around to raise the issue! Otherwise, the lies would go unquestioned and injustice would prevail!

I would love to see Romney or Ryan in one of their debates extend to Obama or Biden the now vacant role as Ambassador to Libya nce Romney is President.

The look on their faces would be priceless.

Always intent on blaming others, yet never willing to accept responsibility. This has to be the most immature and irresponsible gaggle of miscreants ever to set foot in Washington.

Read the article.

The lady from the State Department yesterday refused... refused ..to say that the attack was by terrorists.

Note... in the article... Cutter herself said the President is committed to bringing the "terrorists" to justice.

I get so confused...I get dizzy.

Terrorists... or not...according to Obama's people?

Steffi can't take the heat. Even if Bengazi were an issue only because of Romney & Ryan, which it's not, it would still be vital to have a discussion, and certainly more important than Big Bird. This morning, headline in HuffPo blames Republicans for cutting security funding at embassies/consuls.

The murder of our ambassador is a non-issue? When has this happened before? Even Clinton took action after the attacks on our embassies--attacks that didn't kill any US citizens, let alone four, including our ambassador. And lest anyone forget, those attacks on our embassies were precursors to 9/11/01.

I really liked RR's response at the bottom of the article.
I hope that Ryan raises the issue tonight in the debate and reminds viewers that Obama thought their deaths was a mere 'bump in the road' and that his campaign manager said it would not even be an issue if RR had not questioned the details of the murders.

The battle is over the minds (and votes) of the American people. The left uses emotions based on envy, jealousy and hate. The right uses facts and evidence. The winner will be the party that convinces the public what they are saying is the truth.

I watched Cutter today and this is one partisan hack willing to say anything to cover the "One's" arse. They have no conscience, NONE!

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
