I’m sure you’ve seen the tease that Drudge has up on his front page by now. CAMPAIGN DRAMA: VIDEO MADE 6 YEARS AGO SURFACES ON EVE OF FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE... DEVELOPING TONIGHT... He’s added some extra teasing in his tweets. Curious tape dropping tonight. NOT from MOTHERJONES. Will cause controversy, ignite accusations of racism — in both directions! And Internal debate at news network about airing tape tonight, on eve of debate… MORE I was thinking that this would turn out to be a hit on Romney, until that tweet about the internal debate at a network. What network

The big thing is tying him to Rev. Wright. Can't wait for the wailing and gnashing of teeth over this. Of course this was not a secretly, and illegally recorded tape, but it does blow the cover off the lie that is The Empty Chair.

Where was this tape during the last campaign? I bet Hillary wishes she had used it! The chickens are coming home to roost.

I might just switch from Dancing With The Stars to watch. I want this guy to roast in a fire of his own making.

The msm will either totally ignore this tape, but those that do not will be quite hard-pressed to excuse it.

What a tortured racist analogy!

The man is so dependent upon his written speech....talk about an empty suit. Sometimes I wonder if he even knows what he is saying. He's a different and mediocre speaker without his teleprompter.

It must be difficult to be in a high profile office, believe what he believes internally, then have to juggle what he says publicly, which is different than what he believes. What a duplicitous life he leads!

It is my fervent wish that this debate is the Won's political swan song.

I hope Obama chokes on his words tomorrow. He is notoriously thin skinned and an on fire Romney can needle him enough that with some luck he gets Obama mad and saying stuff that *really* makes him look bad to the average voter who has NO clue about any of this.

His base will love this. Anyone who has been even half listening at all knows all of this about Obama already The liberals I know have their fingers in their ears and do not want to hear anything that does not go with their own personal narrative of conservatives. We are evil and they are good.
At this point I do not see many people being swayed.

The video is posted up the page.

http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/obama-speech-jeremiah-wright-new-orleans/

The first thing on the video is the shoutout to Wright. And you could cut Indonesia-Hawaii-Occidental College-Columbia University-Harvard Law Obie's thick Southern negro dialect with a butter knife.

When he returned to Chicago from university, ready to be a community activist, he was advised that he sounded "too Ivy League" for what he wanted to do. The community would not accept him. And he was advised to join a church, preferably Trinity - big, powerful. Rev. Wright.

Talk about sickening race-baiting...

Social Security stops trying

Washington Post, by Marc Fisher    Original Article

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Despite promises to the contrary, it appears that State Senator Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) voted on bills that affect her clients and favorably impact the bottom line of her law firm. “I have never done anything in a way that represents a conflict in my voting and something that would benefit me personally,” she said in an interview, but state records seem to tell a different story. The Dallas Morning News´ Senior Political Writer Wayne Slater (DMN) reported that Davis supported legislation governing a toll road project. That would be all well and good except for the fact that the

Democrats Lose Two More Special

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

Nevada ranch standoff could leave

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said little as federal agents seized and then released cattle last week from the Bundy ranch, but there is little doubt that the highly charged episode was threatening to become a political headache for the Nevada Democrat. The Bureau of Land Management is headed by former longtime Reid aide Neil Kornze, who was confirmed by the Senate as BLM director on Tuesday, just as federal authorities descended on the cattle ranch outside Mesquite, Nev. Mr. Kornze issued a statement Saturday saying that the bureau would return the cattle and withdraw its agents from the ranch

Democrats settle on fairness

Washington Post, by Wesley Lowery    Original Article

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. In promoting legislation that would extend unemployment benefits, increase the minimum wage and promote equal pay for women, the Democrats have declared themselves the party that will ensure a “fair shot” for all. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

On a trip to Moscow early in her tenure as secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton played the role of international saleswoman, pressing Russian government officials to sign a multibillion-dollar deal to buy dozens of aircraft from Boeing. A month later, Clinton was in China, where she jubilantly announced that the aerospace giant would be writing a generous check to help resuscitate floundering U.S. efforts to host a pavilion at the upcoming World’s Fair. Boeing, she said, “has just agreed to double its contribution to $2 million.” Clinton did not point out that, to secure the donation, the State Department

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Three people were shot and killed Sunday afternoon in suburban Kansas City, and a spokeswoman for a local hospital said a 15-year-old boy is in critical condition. Overland Park Fire Department spokesman Jason Rhodes said Sunday afternoon that one person of interest is in custody. The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in Overland Park

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come
