Oh, those arms!

I HAD expected to keep mum about my problem with Michelle Obama until after the election, but my frustration has gotten the better of me. I can contain it no longer. I refer not to her politics, but to her arms — her bare, toned, elegant arms. Enough! The first lady has made it unacceptable for women to appear in public with covered arms. However innocently, however unwittingly, that is what she has done. Those bare, toned, elegant arms of hers have spawned an epidemic of sleevelessness, exposing arms, arms, arms, and not all of them toned and elegant.

Comments:
Barf alert.
Michelle 0bama is a fashion illiterate and too stupid to know that a lady wears long sleeves in fall/winter . . . . one of the many traits of her tasteless wardrobe habits. Yet, rather than point out her lack of taste, the PC fashion world continues to cover for her and obsess over her arms. Cut me a break.

Bare skin shown inappropriately, indicates ignorance, not elegance.

The vapidity of some female writers is staggering:

The first lady has made it unacceptable for women to appear in public with covered arms.

"..unacceptable" to whom? To those who care about what M wears? To those who care about fashion? By what other people deem important such as bare/covered arms?

It wouldn't occur to me in a million years to give a rip what is fashionable or not, especially as conveyed by what some dictatorial First Lady wears or doesn't wear. Geez...

How did Americans get so shallow?

So transparently stupid.

MO is an ugly biped with a large rear end and wookie-like face and scary teeth.

There is nothing attractive about a middle-aged woman's armpits.
Appropriate dress means business attire for the first woman.
Her clothes are ill-fitting and ugly.

"I refer not to her politics, but to her arms."

Therein lies the problem. Fawning over the appearance of women in Hollywood or fashion magazines is okay - that's what they are there for. Letting appearance dictate how one votes is petty, absurd and downright idiotic.

I'm not impressed by those never ending bare arms. An outfit here or there is OK, but she almost always bares her arms. For what is reported what she spends on clothes, the dressmaker could certainly give her the complete dress, arms coverings included.
And who wears sleeveless dressed as the weather begins to cool off?
Well, the Fox babes do and they show a lot more! Whatever happened to proper work place attire?

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

An autopsy on Peaches Geldof was inconclusive and toxicology tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine what killed the 25-year-old celebrity, police said Wednesday. Geldof was pronounced dead by paramedics at her home in southeast England on Monday. Geldof, the daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldof and the late TV presenter Paula Yates, had worked as a model, writer and television show host. She grew up in the glare of Britain´s press, which reveled in the late-night antics of her teenage years, and

The President is no economic illiterate, despite what conservatives think. He understands basic macroeconomics just fine, thank you – but with a twist. Mainstream Democrats worship at the altar of the New Deal. It’s an article of faith that massive government spending pulled America out of the Great Depression. (With all respect to Paul Krugman, the truth is more complicated, but that’s not within the scope of this article.)The president’s view of spending, deficits and debt is not merely Keynesian theory run amok. Its origins and objectives are far more terrifying. Where the traditional Democratic playbook for economic downturns was provided

A majority of Americans believe that President Barack Obama’s signature health care law will be repealed. Only 23 percent of those polled believe that the health care law has been a success, compared to 46 percent who describe the law as a failure. Louisiana Gov. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as
