| DENVER — Mitt Romney has one thing going for him headed into this week’s first presidential debate with President Obama: Voters don’t expect him to do very well. The newest Washington Times/Zogby Poll, released Sunday, found twice as many voters think Mr. Obama will win Wednesday’s kickoff affair as think Mr. Romney will win it — and among self-identified independents, it’s even more pronounced. Most voters said they were happy with the format of the debate, which will feature Mr. Obama and Mr. Romney and exclude third-party and independent candidates.

0bama can go out and say anything, ignore every question, and contradict himself and there are still members of the press whore club who will state 0bama won or it was a ''tie.'' In fact, I'm sure many of them are discussing what to write ahead of time and are organizing it over on the new Journolist.

Batten down the hatches, close your ears, and don't listen to/read any of this.

The Dems are calling for a Romney win so that if Obama ties or wins according to the LSM, they can call it an "upset".
Our best bet in this fight is you. Talk to every one you can, and ask them who they're voting for. If you get "Obama" ask why. And then explain why that answer is either misguided or misinformed.

I'm afraid #22 is right. How many low information voters are actually going to watch? They'll just see the headlines or listen to the M(B)SM, which will all say Obama was just so much better than even his biggest fans thought he would be. And as for knowing the questions, his staff probably wrote them.

The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.
