A professionally shot video of Barack Obama from 1995 has recently surfaced. Shot at the Cambridge, Mass. Public Library, the video captures a skinny, youthful Obama promoting his then newly released memoir, Dreams from My Father. In this hour-long presentation, Obama openly talks about his relationship with his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist and pornographer. Perhaps more importantly, Obama gives us a much clearer picture of who he was in 1995, on the cusp of his political career, than we had seen before. Some observations: The Obama of 1995 was not a very good speaker. He had a halting

Jeb Bush says that the Senate should confirm the nomination Loretta Lynch, President Barack Obama’s choice for attorney general. A number of Senate Republicans oppose her nomination. “I think presidents have the right to pick their team,” Bush said, according to reports of his stop at the “Politics and Pie” forum in Concord, New Hampshire, on Thursday night. The former Florida governor made sure to get in a few digs at current Attorney General Eric Holder, saying that Republicans should consider that the longer it takes to confirm Lynch, the longer Holder stays.

Iowans had their cellphones and cameras confiscated before getting to meet the Democratic presidential frontrunner, Hillary Rodham Clinton. "On Thursday, Clinton´s motorcade left the SpringHill Suites for Main Street Cafe, where she met privately with party leaders for about an hour and a half," reports KETV in Omaha. "Pottawattamie County Democratic Chairwoman Linda Nelson said the meeting was so private that everyone invited was asked to hand over their cellphones and cameras before taking part." The Clinton campaign has been trying to control Hillary´s campaign events as much as possible. Taking the cellphones and cameras of possible voters, however, is

Hillary Clinton isn’t just caught in a political scandal over her missing emails from her stint as secretary of state – she’s also terrified of personal revelations about a secret lesbian lifestyle! Now a world-exclusive investigation by The National ENQUIRER reveals that some of the presidential candidate’s famously “deleted” emails are packed full of lesbian references and her lovers’ names. “I don’t think she’s so concerned about emails referring to her as secretly gay,” said a Clinton insider. “That’s been out for years – her real fear is that the names of some of her lovers would be made public!”

Hillary Rodham Clinton fudged her family history at a campaign appearance in Iowa Wednesday when she described her grandparents as immigrants. “All my grandparents, you know, came over here and, you know, my grandfather went to, work in a lace mill in Scranton, Pa.,” Clinton said. But, acccording to documents posted on Buzzfeed.com, only one of her grandparents immigrated, while the others were born in the United States shortly after their parents arrived. A spokesperson for Clinton said that although her grandparents were not officially immigrants, they regularly spoke about the “immigrant experience.”

During a segment on his Fox Business Network show Making Money, host Charles Payne said that he thinks Obama is making ready for a big push to pay billions in slavery reparations in 2016. During a panel segment, Payne and his crew were discussing the reparations the city of Chicago is making to the mostly black victims of Police Commander Jon Burge, a now convicted Chicago policeman who in the 1970s and ’80s engaged in a long campaign of beating suspects into confessing to crimes they did not commit. From that subject, Payne veered off into his prediction of what

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush acknowledged on Friday that he’s “concerned” about climate change, but argued that the U.S. has largely addressed carbon emissions through private sector innovation that has led to a natural gas boom. Speaking at the New England Council’s “Politics and Eggs” series in Manchester, New Hampshire, a popular stop for presidential hopefuls, Bush fielded a question about whether his energy policy would take the environment into account. “The climate is changing and I’m concerned about that,” Bush responded. “But to be honest with you, I’m more concerned about the hollowing out of our
