More Bribery: Kamala Harris
hands $400,000 to Heidi Heitkamp

Funny how politics works these days... Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota went against her own voters´ sentiment, which supported Judge Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court by about 60%, voted against the man in a bid to sink his confirmation, and suddenly found herself with a flood of campaign cash, courtesy of Sen. Kamala Harris, who raised her a $400,000 payday. Here´s the news from NBC´s Kasie Hunt, which was first spotted by Mike Allen at Axios: Was that cash why she changed her vote from sympathetic to Kavanaugh to a ´no´? One wonders if these were the arrangements

Comments:
Was Heitkamp notified about this ´reward´ if she changed her vote?

File under ´stinks.´

Talk about flushing money down the toilet! At this point, no amount of money will make the difference in this election. Heitkamp is toast. But then again, why am I surprised? Flushing money down the toilet is what Democrats do best.

So that´s why the Dems stonewalled and demanded more time? They needed time to raise cash for bribery?

There´s a very thin line between campaign contributions and bribery. Who contributes to a candidate not expected to "do the right thing" when it matters? Anyone? And when they "do the right thing"...

I know that Heitkamp is far behind in the polls, but $400k is a whole lot of money in the North Dakota ad market, and you can be sure Heitkamp will saturate the airwaves with distortions and smears for the next month. I hope the good people of North Dakota see through Heitkamp and that Cramer (her opponent) gets his own ads out there highlighting Kamala Harris´ tweet and participation in and connection to all of Heitkamp´s new found $$$$.

Soros blood (money) runs through Harris´s veins.

She´s cunning and ambitious. Nothing will stand in her way (if she is given opportunity).

CA is represented by two repulsive women.

KAG!!! MAGA!!! Make ND great again by electing an Republican!

What´s that old joke that ends, "We know what you are, we´re just haggling over the price."?

I guess if Kamala wants to burn $400,000, let her do it. You could flush it down the commode and get the same result.

People, please remember that any remaining cash in a campaign fund goes to the politician after the election. Four hundred thousand dollars not spent means four hundred thousand in Heithamp´s pocket after the election is over even if she loses. Okay, since she was already behind it would seem logical to some to simply take the money and lose with a wad of cash for later on in life. Some democrat group will hire her after the loss so she has some "walking around" money on the side and all it took was changing one vote on the way out the door. To me, it does sound like something a politician would do.

Just two, #5? There is a whole boatload of obnoxious, repulsive ´Rat females representing the Golden State. And their male counterparts fit into the boat as well.

Heidi´s vote of conscience almost guarantees her retirement from the Senate on 1-3-19. She only won by about 3000 votes in 2012. Hardly a landslide, and Romney didn´t exactly galvanize the electorate that year.

Let´s not forget the envelope passed when Ford testified. Nobody followed up on that one.

Has GoFundMe become a money laundering scheme for politicians? Ban them.

The race for the 50th Congressional District is spanning multiple generations, as former Congressman Duncan L. Hunter held a news conference Tuesday attacking his son’s Democratic opponent as a security risk — and also attacking the opponent’s father and grandfather. The rival, Ammar Campa-Najjar, showed up at Hunter’s news conference by the USS Midway Museum and told reporters that it’s incumbent Rep. Duncan D. Hunter who would have trouble passing a security screening, given that he’s under federal indictment. Campa-Najjar, 29, of Jamul and Duncan D. Hunter, 41, of Alpine, are competing to represent

So Elizabeth Warren was doing a victory dance about her DNA test showing ´strong evidence´ she may have 1/1,024 or 0.09 percent Native American lineage. In hot pursuit, she called on President Trump to ´pay up´ with his $1 million offer to the charity of her choice for taking the DNA test he said he would toss to her at a future presidential debate, earlier. As the network press admiringly gushed about the whole ´gotcha,´ she was convinced she had him cornered. Well, sorry, that debate hasn´t happened yet and now it´s doubtful it ever will,

It’s time to end women’s sports — especially since they’re not just “women’s” sports anymore. A case in point is “Rachel” McKinnon, Ph.D., a man masquerading as a woman (MMW), or a “transgender” as the enlighteners say, who just won a women’s masters cycling event. As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft (almost) put it, he “whooped them little girls.” McKinnon isn’t alone, as many MMW have won women’s sporting events during the last decade. To name just a few, a 55-year-old MMW won a women’s long-drive competition

It was not Shakespeare, but Sir Walter Scott who wrote, "O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!" During her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 27, Christine Blasey Ford proved that Scott´s axiom is at least as valid today as it was two centuries ago. There is likely a core of truth to the story Ford told on September 27. The evidence, however, fully exonerates Justice Brett Kavanaugh. It suggests instead that the 18-year-old Ford attended an afternoon event in 1985 at which four young men

As I wrote the other day, gaffe- and idiocy-prone Democratic candidate Kyrsten Sinema is shaping up as the Christine O´Donnell of the Arizona Senate race. Everything is there but the witchcraft, an unguarded reference to which sank the inexperienced O´Donnell´s campaign. Oh wait. Here´s what the Washington Examiner found: Emails obtained by the Washington Examiner show Sinema inviting a prominent coven of feminist witches in Arizona called Pagan Cluster to celebrate International Women’s Day and to protest the war in March of 2003. Code Pink protesters wore pink, obviously enough, and the Women in

Politico had a nice summary of all the things the Democrats are promising to do if elected. It was the usual mix of authoritarian-socialism. 1. Single-payer health care. Single-payer health care. Isn´t that great? And only one payer! And I suppose that one payer won´t be any of us, right? In reality, of course, all of us who pay taxes (and none of us who don´t) will end up being the single-payer. They really should call it "single-doctor" healthcare, because once healthcare becomes "free", demand will overwhelm supply. As in Cuba, everyone will have a "right" to

Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass), the pastiest white woman in the entire Senate, has long been a figure of fun for her claim to be the "first woman of color" to teach at Harvard Law School, owing to her "family lore" of holding Native American ancestry. It doesn´t exactly seem to check out based on looking at her, or asking around in the Oklahoma Native American community she claims to be part of. President Trump, of course, has had a field day with her pretensions, calling her ´Pocahontas.´ Now she´s come out after a long, long hiatus from those charges to claim

Elizabeth Warren is very concerned that Americans will not approve of her dishonest scheme to leapfrog over competitors during her academic career. Elizabeth Warren claimed she was a minority “Native American” to get ahead in her career. Warren is a fraud and she is concerned it may damage her chances of becoming the next US president. In 1996 the Harvard Crimson identified Elizabeth Warren as a woman of color and Native American. In 1998 Harvard bragged Elizabeth Warren, “who is Native American”, was their only minority tenured woman on staff. Hat Tip Chris-A 1997 article in the Fordham Law Review

Nearly everybody loves music. In fact, music can often bridge the gaps between people when nothing else can. And there are few things more fun than seeing people react to hit songs. There’s definitely no formula to what constitutes a hit song, although some songs were natural hits from the first time they made their way on the radio – think about songs like “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” or “Irreplaceable.” Other tunes become smashes inexplicably. But there’s a whole different category of hits: overrated songs. Some singles have no business being popular or well-loved, and

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) launched a bizarre Twitter rant late Monday afternoon following the disastrous rollout of DNA results that further debunked her decades-long claim to American Indian ancestry. Warren’s thread of 20-plus (and counting) tweets began at about 5:30 p.m. ET, where she attempted to both insult President Trump and defend herself. In her first tweet, and without any evidence, Warren made the outlandish claim that Trump “makes creepy physical threats about me.” The truth is that all Trump has ever done is ridicule her false claims about being Cherokee. “We all know why @realDonaldTrump makes creepy

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, unless it’s a shredded Banksy, obviously, which is worth around £1m. But how to put a value on the majestic artwork Donald Trump was revealed to have gracing the wall outside the Oval Office, as eagle-eyed viewers of 60 Minutes spotted? (Snip) Barack Obama has a taste for modern art; George W Bush is a (not half bad) painter himself; so what of Trump’s choice? The painting, showing former Republican presidents (which some have likened to Dogs Playing Poker) was painted in oil by Andy Thomas, who is more often found

Elections: American democracy has a problem — a voting problem. According to a new study of U.S. Census data, America has more registered voters than actual live voters. It´s a troubling fact that puts our nation´s future in peril. The data come from Judicial Watch´s Election Integrity Project. The group looked at data from 2011 to 2015 produced by the U.S. Census Bureau´s American Community Survey, along with data from the federal Election Assistance Commission. On Oct. 14, CBS’s “60 Minutes” aired an interview with President Donald Trump — rare for its status as having appeared outside of Fox News or conservative media. Appearing the same weekend as First Lady Melania Trump’s appearance on “20/20,” this would seem to represent a new level of media blitzing on the part of an administration that’s already seen its head get plenty of free promotion during rallies broadcast on cable news. And, like Melania Trump’s utterly-on-message, relentlessly forward-moving TV interview, the President’s interview had effectively the same impact as a rally; it allowed him to bulldoze his chief

WASHINGTON - Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, ridiculed by U.S. President Donald Trump as “Pocahontas” for claiming Native American heritage, hit back on Monday with DNA evidence she said supported her assertion, a possible preview of a bare-knuckles presidential campaign in 2020. The Massachusetts lawmaker, known as a liberal firebrand in her party, said last month she would take a “hard look” at running for the Democratic nomination to challenge Republican Trump in 2020. She and Trump clashed frequently through the 2016 presidential campaign and Trump has cast aspersions on her claim to Native American ancestry. “When I decided to run for
