More Bribery: Kamala Harris
hands $400,000 to Heidi Heitkamp

Funny how politics works these days... Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota went against her own voters´ sentiment, which supported Judge Brett Kavanaugh for Supreme Court by about 60%, voted against the man in a bid to sink his confirmation, and suddenly found herself with a flood of campaign cash, courtesy of Sen. Kamala Harris, who raised her a $400,000 payday. Here´s the news from NBC´s Kasie Hunt, which was first spotted by Mike Allen at Axios: Was that cash why she changed her vote from sympathetic to Kavanaugh to a ´no´? One wonders if these were the arrangements

Comments:
Was Heitkamp notified about this ´reward´ if she changed her vote?

Talk about flushing money down the toilet! At this point, no amount of money will make the difference in this election. Heitkamp is toast. But then again, why am I surprised? Flushing money down the toilet is what Democrats do best.

So that´s why the Dems stonewalled and demanded more time? They needed time to raise cash for bribery?

There´s a very thin line between campaign contributions and bribery. Who contributes to a candidate not expected to "do the right thing" when it matters? Anyone? And when they "do the right thing"...

I know that Heitkamp is far behind in the polls, but $400k is a whole lot of money in the North Dakota ad market, and you can be sure Heitkamp will saturate the airwaves with distortions and smears for the next month. I hope the good people of North Dakota see through Heitkamp and that Cramer (her opponent) gets his own ads out there highlighting Kamala Harris´ tweet and participation in and connection to all of Heitkamp´s new found $$$$.

Soros blood (money) runs through Harris´s veins.

She´s cunning and ambitious. Nothing will stand in her way (if she is given opportunity).

CA is represented by two repulsive women.

KAG!!! MAGA!!! Make ND great again by electing an Republican!

What´s that old joke that ends, "We know what you are, we´re just haggling over the price."?

I guess if Kamala wants to burn $400,000, let her do it. You could flush it down the commode and get the same result.

People, please remember that any remaining cash in a campaign fund goes to the politician after the election. Four hundred thousand dollars not spent means four hundred thousand in Heithamp´s pocket after the election is over even if she loses. Okay, since she was already behind it would seem logical to some to simply take the money and lose with a wad of cash for later on in life. Some democrat group will hire her after the loss so she has some "walking around" money on the side and all it took was changing one vote on the way out the door. To me, it does sound like something a politician would do.

Just two, #5? There is a whole boatload of obnoxious, repulsive ´Rat females representing the Golden State. And their male counterparts fit into the boat as well.

Heidi´s vote of conscience almost guarantees her retirement from the Senate on 1-3-19. She only won by about 3000 votes in 2012. Hardly a landslide, and Romney didn´t exactly galvanize the electorate that year.

Let´s not forget the envelope passed when Ford testified. Nobody followed up on that one.

Has GoFundMe become a money laundering scheme for politicians? Ban them.

It´s that time of year again. Not just Santa, but for the press, lists, lots of lists, including a clickable one on a think-tank´s assessment of who the most corrupt members of Congress were this year. According to the Daily Caller: A conservative-leaning watchdog group says House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are the biggest congressional scofflaws of 2018, for their anemic handling of the settlement slush fund that used an unlimited pot of taxpayer money to pay off congressional staff in exchange for signing legal

"There are some who say that communism is the wave of the future. Let them come to Berlin!" That was June 1963 in West Berlin where President John F. Kennedy gave one of his most memorable addresses. The speech was a stirring defense of liberty and a pointed critique of communism. Whether you agree with Kennedy broadly or narrowly, I´ve rediscovered that speech and find it to relate now more than ever to the unfolding drama in the country of my birth, Venezuela. My family and I left Venezuela when I was 10.

When a seven-year-old girl died of dehydration and shock while in U.S. Customs and Border Protection custody after being brought here illegally by her father, Democrats and the liberal MSM immediately began blaming her death on President Trump´s border and immigration policies. The fact that the little girl hadn´t consumed food or water for several days and endured who knows what other physical and emotional trauma over the grueling and dangerous two-thousand-mile journey from her home in Guatemala didn´t seem to affect the narrative of Democrats and the MSM that President Trump is somehow responsible for her tragic death.

Do Americans really worry

‘government shutdown’?

Chuck Schumer clearly thinks that he’s got a winning issue with blaming President Trump for a prospective “government shutdown” Friday, if no budget bill is passed that includes $5 billion for border wall improvements. Since he promises that no such money will be forthcoming from the Senate, he obviously anticipates the public reacting in horror over the Christmas holidays as federal employees labeled “non-essential” stay home. But Rep. Thomas Massey, a libertarian-leaning GOP House member from Kentucky, has published an amazing graph that shows how meaningless this “disaster” really is for almost everybody:

Looks like political correctness lost one at the Miss Universe pageant. Catriona Gray of the Philippines was crowned Miss Universe 2018 at the final on Sunday in Bangkok, beating out two lovely women from South Africa and Venezuela. I would have picked South Africa myself, but oh, am I happy Miss Philippines won. Lovely contestant, very happy to cheer Miss Philippines, she´s a fine choice. The problem this time around has been that the contest has started to become a venue for transsexuals, who look every bit like the imitation of women that they actually are.

You just don´t expect the words ´Putin´ and ´rap´ to appear in the same headline. But here we are, with the Russian president extraordinaire declaring that the Kremlin must "take charge" of rap music. Lookit: Putin wants government to "take charge" of rap music ...and here´s what the BBC story said: Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked the government to "take charge" of rap music after a number of concerts were cancelled across the country. Efforts to ban rap were "impossible" and so the state should play a greater role in controlling it, he said.

Well, the Obama holdovers at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, parent organization over U.S. broadcast agencies such as Voice of America, and formerly known as the Broadcast Board of Governors, have struck back. News got out, including from yours truly in this piece here, that the Obama holdouts weren´t budging from their cushy six-figure perches, as President Trump attempted to send in some new board members. Instead of packing up and leaving, as even White House Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes did, they chose to remain entrenched in positions they

Schools in Brighton have been ordered to teach children as young as eight that people “of all genders” can have periods, as well as to install sanitary waste disposal units in every toilet room. The instructions were included in guidelines published by the local council earlier this month on ‘Taking a Period Positive Approach in Brighton & Hove Schools’, which assert there is “more work to do across all settings to prevent and reduce stigma related to periods and talking about periods”. Under the subheading ‘key messages’, teachers are told to stress to pupils that “trans boys and

Dinesh D’Souza described Michelle Obama´s college thesis as “illiterate and incoherent.” The far-right author and filmmaker launched a scathing attack on the former first lady after she claimed that people at the most powerful organizations in the world were “not as smart” as some portrayed them to be. “Anyone who has read Michelle´s college thesis—a document so illiterate and incoherent that it was written, as Christopher Hitchens put it, in ´no known language´—will chuckle heartily at this one,” D’Souza wrote on his Facebook page, sharing a link to a Newsweek article that reported Obama’s remark. The father of Jakelin Caal, who died in United States Customs and Border Protection custody, has reportedly hired a pair of attorneys and is challenging the Department of Homeland Security´s claims of how his daughter died. Nery Gilberto Caal released a statement, through attorneys, on Saturday, claiming that he and his daughter — whom Border Patrol says died of prolonged hunger and dehydration — were properly fed, and that they had not spent days in the desert before declaring their intent to seek asylum at an official border crossing in New Mexico last week.

AFP reported Saturday that “experts” say “Western powers fighting Islamist groups around the globe are condemned to a never-ending battle if they only tackle the symptoms and not the underlying causes of jihadist insurgency.” That is true, but these establishment “experts” have no idea of the actual underlying causes, and are recommending the same counterterror remedies that have failed again and again. “The West is on the road to winning all the battles and losing the war,” warns Katherine Zimmerman, who wrote a recent report for the American Enterprise Institute. On that, Zimmerman is actually right. But she and her
