It looks like NBC talent Megyn Kelly still has not hit rock bottom. Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly reached another low for total viewers last night, this time only getting 3.1 million total viewers compared to the measly 3.21 million total viewers Kelly got the week before when she established her previous low, according to Nielsen data. As Breitbart News has reported, Kelly’s last two programs have failed to beat out a years-old rerun of Dateline that ran during the Fourth of July holiday weekend when Kelly took a week off. The years-old rerun of Dateline that ran in Kelly’s
Stepping off a plane to be greeted by a welcoming committee with the eyes of the world on you would be a test enough for the most confident among us. So it was no wonder that Prince George, who turns four on Saturday, seemed to be feeling a little overwhelmed as he arrived in Warsaw with his parents this morning for the start of their five-day visit to Poland and Germany. The little Prince kept close to his father Prince William who seemed to have to coax his shy little boy off the plane and down the steps after their
It’s classic subprime: hasty loans, rapid defaults, and, at times, outright fraud. Only this isn’t the U.S. housing market circa 2007. It’s the U.S. auto industry circa 2017. A decade after the mortgage debacle, the financial industry has embraced another type of subprime debt: auto loans. And, like last time, the risks are spreading as they’re bundled into securities for investors worldwide.(Snip) Few things capture this phenomenon like the partnership between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and Banco Santander SA. Since 2013, as U.S. car sales soared, the two have built one of the industry’s most powerful subprime machines. Details of
Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” in reference Donald Trump, Jr’s appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” last week, host Joe Scarborough called the show hosted by conservative commentator Sean Hannity “state-run television.” Scarborough said, “If you look at what Jay Sekulow was forced to go out and say last weekend on the Sunday shows, if you look at the statement that the President of the United States signed off on with all the president’s men around him on Air Force One, coming back from Europe, lying, lying to the New York Times lying to the American people, saying this meeting
On the eve of the deadline for President Trump to grade Iranian compliance with the nuclear deal, Iran’s foreign minister accused him of violating the accord, while the administration called on the regime to release U.S. citizens held on “fabricated” security charges. The raised rhetoric comes three months into an administration review of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal, and at a time when JCPOA critics in Congress are urging Trump to determine that Iran is not abiding by its commitments. Ever since the agreement began being implemented Tehran has accused the U.S. of not keeping its part
Reebok Fitness Apparel & Footwear? manufacturer went full Social Justice Warrior and posted this tweet on Friday. (Tweet/Photo) With this tweet Reebok did three things. 1.) They condemned complementing women 2) They trashed President Donald Trump for complimenting the French President’s wife 3.) The decided they no longer want conservatives to purchase their products. Thank you Reebok for being up front and honest. Are you aware that conservatives control 60% of the purchasing power in America? Conservatives weighed in on this decision—
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has been accused of “slut-shaming” female players after introducing a new dress code that forbids plunging necklines, leggings or revealing skirts on the course. Reactions to the move by golf’s governing body have been overwhelmingly against it, with Teen Vogue, the influential youth magazine, saying the dress code had set women “way back”. In an email sent around by LPGA player president Vicki Goetze-Ackerman on July 2, players were warned that they would face a fine of $1000 if they breached the new dress code which comes into action on July 17.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has ruled out setting an upper limit on refugees coming to Germany, defying her long-term coalition partner on an issue that threatens to open up a rift between the country´s ruling political parties just two months before federal elections. "On the issue of an upper limit, my position is clear," Merkel said in an interview broadcast live on Germany´s ARD on Sunday. "I won´t accept one." Merkel will need the support of the Christian Social Union -- the more conservative sister party to Merkel´s Christian Democratic Union -- in order to remain Chancellor after September elections.
as vice president, I met with Americans all across our country. What they told me over and over is that the Affordable Care Act gave them peace of mind — that if they got sick, or if their child got sick, they could get care and not have to worry about going broke as a result. They no longer had to lay awake at night wondering: Can I pay for this treatment? What happens if she gets cancer? How will I feed my family and afford the care? They told me that because when the ACA became law and health-care coverage
New York - A Tesla owner is blaming the car´s autopilot feature for "suddenly accelerated" and flipping his vehicle, injuring him and four others. The crash occurred west of the Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota when David Clark engaged the semi-autonomous driving feature in his Tesla electric car on a country road. According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff´s office, Mr Clark´s Tesla was found overturned in a marsh but the injuries were "minor". The "cruise control" option in Teslas use cameras, radars, and an on-board computers to detect lanes, other vehicles, and objects in the road, steering as needed.
Las Vegas - O.J. Simpson, the former football star, TV pitchman and now Nevada prison inmate No. 1027820, will have a lot going for him when he asks state parole board members this week to release him after serving more than eight years for an ill-fated bid to retrieve sports memorabilia. Now 70, Simpson will have history in his favor and a clean record behind bars as he approaches the nine-year minimum of his 33-year sentence for armed robbery and assault with a weapon. Plus, the parole board sided with him once before. No one at his Thursday hearing is expected to oppose releasing him in October — not his victim,
Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters are less confident of his leadership on health care even though they still overwhelmingly support him as president, the latest Bloomberg National Poll shows. As Trump calls on the U.S. Senate to pass legislation repealing and replacing Obamacare, 60 percent of all poll respondents said they think it’s unrealistic that a bill lowering premiums and covering more people will be passed in the next several years. At the same time, health care ranked as the most important issue facing the country, ahead of jobs, terrorism and immigration. Health-insurance companies and drug companies fared
The Trump administration acted Monday to allow 15,000 more visas for temporary seasonal workers this year. Under authority provided by Congress, the Secretary of Homeland Security is permitted to allow the additional visas after determining that the needs of U.S. businesses can´t be satisfied with Americans willing and qualified to do the work. So-called "H2B visas" are used to bring in non-agricultural guest workers. Landscaping businesses, resorts, and other seasonal employers depend on them every year. A federal law caps the number available at 66,000 a year nationwide, but Congress gave DHS the power to
Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner met a Russian government intermediary last summer at Trump Tower. Their explicit purpose was to take up an offer from the Russians of dirt on Hillary Clinton. The three senior members of Team Trump were told the information was part of Moscow´s efforts to help the GOP presidential nominee. These circumstances confirm the need for the special counsel investigation into Russia´s interference in the election. That investigation, led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller, is expected to last months, possibly years. President Trump must learn to live with this reality, unpleasant though it
Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), the ranking member of the Senate intelligence committee, appeared on several Sunday talk shows to discuss the never-ending, constantly expanding investigation into any possible connections between the Trump campaign and Russia. (Snip) “I think the whole role of these social media platforms in terms of disseminating fake news is a policy question that we´re going to have to address,” Warner said. Here is the entire exchange between Warner and host John Dickerson: “Another area that it´s -- it appears you´re interested in is the data operation of the Trump campaign, which Jared Kushner was overseeing. Explain that,”
Beirut - A senior commander in Iran´s Revolutionary Guards warned the United States on Monday that if it designated the group a terrorist organisation and applied new sanctions its action could be perilous for U.S. forces in the region. U.S. officials said earlier this year that President Donald Trump´s administration was considering a proposal that could lead to potentially categorising the powerful Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organisation. In Mid-June the U.S. Senate voted for new sanctions on Iran over its ballistic missile programme and other activities not related to the international nuclear agreement reached
A Utah woman´s lawsuit against a former federal judge accusing him of raping her more than three decades ago is now at the center of a legal fight over how child sex abuse claims are handled in the state, and whether victims can seek justice for old alleged crimes. Last year, Terry Mitchell sued Richard Roberts — then the chief judge of the federal trial court in Washington, DC — accusing him of taking advantage of her age and repeatedly forcing her to have sex with him in 1981, when he was a 27-year-old prosecutor and she was a 16-year-old witness in one of his cases. Roberts, who has since left the bench, denied the

Former Vice President Al Gore condemned President Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement in an interview Monday. “We’ve never had a president who´s deliberately made decisions the effect of which is tearing down America’s standing in the world,” Gore said on the "Today" show. The one-time Democratic presidential nominee also attacked Trump for “undermining our alliances” and damaging America’s reputation in “many ways.” Gore–who has spent most of his post-political career as a climate change activist–has occasionally weighed in on the president’s decisions. In December, during the
The significant downturn in the number of illegal border crossers between the U.S. and Mexico is "nothing short of miraculous," National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd said on C-SPAN Monday. "As far as the Trump administration´s efforts on immigration, this is something they campaigned heavily on," he said. "At six months, where we are on meeting those promises, we are seeing nothing short of miraculous. If you look at the rhetoric that President Trump has given, it has caused a number of illegal border crossings to go down. We have never seen such a drop that we currently have." "There´s
Israel may need to take military action to prevent Iran or Hezbollah from setting up permanent bases in Syria, former National Security Council head Yaakov Amidror said on Monday. (Snip) “We will not let the Iranians and Hezbollah be the forces that will win the very brutal war in Syria” and then move their focus onto Israel, he said. Up until now Israel has been very careful to say out of the war in Syria, saying it will only intervene – and indeed only has intervened – to protect the red lines Netanyahu established: that game-changing weaponry is not transferred to Hezbollah via Syria, that Hezbollah and Iranian troops are not
White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Monday will hold his first press briefing in nearly three weeks. Spicer will address reporters at an off-camera briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at 2 p.m. It will be Spicer’s first briefing at the White House since June 28. President Trump was in Europe for the Group of 20 summit from July 5-8 and traveled to France Thursday and Friday of last week, meaning there were no briefings at the White House. The press secretary has largely been missing from public view in recent weeks Spicer has taken on many of the behind-the-scenes duties
JAFFA, Israel — As a Holocaust survivor, a successful financier who embraces free market capitalism and a philanthropist who champions liberal democracy, George Soros should be a darling of the Israeli establishment. But Mr. Soros has failed the only litmus test that seems to count for Israel’s current leadership: unconditional support for the government, despite its policies of occupation, discrimination and disregard for civil and human rights. For years Mr. Soros largely avoided Israel-related philanthropy, but he became involved in 2008 when he contributed to J Street, a moderate pro-Israel, pro-peace lobbying group based in Washington, after it was founded.
Over in tweetville, there seems to be a building Twitter-storm over something that occurred four days ago - President Trump´s compliments to France´s first lady, Brigitte Macron, on her figure. "You´re in such good shape. She´s in such good physical shape. Beautiful," Trump told the French President´s wife, who was standing next to first lady Melania Trump. They are yelling sexism, claiming sex-harassment, bellowing about commodification, claiming looks-ism -- all for the pretty innocuous remark. The president didn´t comment on her boob size, her rear end shape, what he´d like to do, what he thinks her sexual history might be, or anything
