This week, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice withdrew her name from consideration as the next Secretary of State, while current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went from definitely testifying on Benghazi next week to a slightly less-certain "maybe" testifying on Benghazi next week. The news coming out of Newtown, Connecticut is sickening. If reports are correct, a young man has killed a family member and 20 children at a school. It’s an act of animal savagery – yet it is also uniquely human. No animal would do this. According to Mother Jones, there have been at least 61 mass shootings in the last 30 years, including 15 in 2012.
