It’s no surprise that Planned Parenthood, its president Cecile Richards, and its loyalists are out in force to re-elect Barack Obama. Mitt Romney has said he would cut off federal tax dollars to the group, while President Obama is one of the abortion giant’s most fervent allies. Recent disclosure reports show that Planned Parenthood’s various PACs and independent expenditure organizations have already spent nearly $6 million in this election cycle to support Obama and pro-abortion champions while attacking Romney. That’s a lot of cash for a so-called non-profit

On Friday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told a D.C. audience on that she does not use email. “Don’t laugh, but I just don’t use e-mail at all,” Napolitano told audience members when asked about her own cybersecurity practices. She also said that she avoids many online services and does not have many of her own accounts, National Journal reported. “Some would call me a luddite,” she said.

Pat Caddell addressed Accuracy in Media’s conference on Obama and the media this week. Caddell used the moment to expose the media for covering up a) an Obama adviser taking what looks like a payoff from the Iranians and b) the Obama administration’s Benghazi cover-up. He concludes that media bias has become so extreme that it now endangers the republic. CADDELL: “I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.

Mitt Romney is not going to win the White House if he doesn’t speak in plain terms about the true nature of this election campaign. That is, if Romney doesn’t stand up and point out the obvious--that he’s not going one on one with Barack Obama, but rather one on two, with Obama being helped by the Main Stream Media--then he has no chance of rallying the support he needs to win the election. In a football game, a team can’t win if the referees are helping the other team. And in the Romney vs. Obama Bowl, the refs

An espionage attack on Telvent - the maker of power-grid control systems and smart meters - has been linked to a prolific Chinese hacking crew. Telvent, a division of Schneider Electric, has admitted hackers breached its corporate network, implanted malicious software and lifted sensitive project files. The raid spanned Telvent systems in the US, Canada and Spain, according to a letter sent to the company's customers this month. Criminals can now study the documents for vulnerabilities in the systems, and potentially devise attacks to sabotage nations' electricity distribution networks.

We know that the mainstream media is in the tank for President Obama. It took them two full weeks to turn their attention to the inconsistencies in the Obama administration’s Libya cover story. So it’s no surprise to find that they’re not covering continuing turmoil in the Muslim world. At all. (Snip) protests continue outside our embassies around the globe. As Jim Geraghty points out, hundreds of Thai Muslims are massed around our embassy in Bangkok, Thailand; Bangladesh’s police reported that they had picked up a university professor for planning an attack on our embassy in Dhaka; hundreds more Muslims

Don’t be fooled by the supposedly bipartisan effort to investigate the Obama administration’s actions after the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya. Democrats are no more serious about challenging their leader in the White House than they have ever been. Trying to pass off his actions as part of a bipartisan effort at investigation, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (D-Mass.) started circulating a letter that his aides said would be asking for more information. (Snip) But here’s the salient point, and how the Democrats are duping the public into thinking that they truly want an investigation: Kerry

Washington - In a bid to hold onto his House seat, freshman Republican Rep. Allen West is making his opponent's bleary mug shot from nine years ago the focus of a blistering ad. On a single night in February 2003, the ad released Friday notes, West was on an Army base in Texas, preparing to go to war. College student Patrick Murphy, meanwhile, was being arrested outside a Miami-area nightclub after an alleged drunken brawl, the ad says. "Two men, a country in crisis. You decide," says a narrator. It was a case of turning lemonade into lemons -- Sarah Palin-style, contends a self-described citizen lobbyist. Chip Thoma, a longtime Alaska activist, said the former Alaska governor ordered her staff to destroy his reputation after he complained about the large number of tour buses driving by for a peek at the governor’s mansion. Palin, he said in a federal court lawsuit, saw an opportunity to portray herself as a victim of his traffic complaints. She directed her staff to put out the word that Thomawas not only trying to drive her out of the governor’s mansion,

Venezuela's president and candidate for reelection, Hugo Chávez, asserted on Wednesday on a visit to the town of Coro, Falcón state (northwest Venezuela) that the request for a TV debate made by the presidential candidate for the opposition Unified Democratic Panel (MUD) Henrique Capriles a few days ago, "shows that they are losing," because, from his point of view, the trend favoring Chavezism is "irreversible." The Head of State asserted that Capriles was a "political illiterate," and asked, "Who is going to debate with you, boy? First, you have to learn how to talk."

One of the reasons why Barack Obama is regarded as the greatest orator of our age is that he's always banging on about some other age yet to come – e.g., the Future! A future of whose contours he is remarkably certain and boundlessly confident: The future will belong to nations that invest in education because the children are our future, but the future will not belong to nations that do not invest in green energy projects because solar-powered prompters are our future, and, most of all,

Elvis Presley's daughter has been selling fish and chips from the back of a van in the sleepy English village where she lives. It is the latest example of Lisa Marie Presley, 44, and her guitarist husband, California native Michael Lockwood, embracing local life since moving to Rotherfield, in southeast England, two years ago. Her secret fish-and-chip gig delighted her friends, Kim and Justin Scales, who run the business. Kim Scales, who also runs alocal pub, the Kings Arms, said the singer could not wait to don an apron to serve people.

During his speech, Biden reminded the audience that some of their Republican friends would distort Obama’s record on Medicare. “Everyone knows, everyone in this room knows that President Obama has increased the benefits available to people on Medicare by the action he took,” Biden said. “You are now able to go get a wellness exam, and guys, if you conclude you need a colonoscopy because of the feeling you had or you need a breast health examination,

It has become the new battle cry for Republicans: All the polls showing Mitt Romney trailing by big margins are just wrong because pollsters are interviewing too many Democrats. Surveys showing President Barack Obama leading nationally by 5 to 7 points, and even more in swing states, have come under fire from the Romney campaign and conservatives who accuse polling companies of misjudging their data at best, (Snip) While pollsters say the Republicans are griping because they are losing, the kernel of the conservatives' complaints - that pollsters frequently survey more Democrats than Republicans - is true.

Last week, First Lady Michelle Obama sounded a battle cry at a Congressional Black Caucus awards dinner when she said protecting the right to vote is the nation’s most important civil rights issue. If that were true, that would mean there no credible civil rights concerns in the country. What Obama was talking about was the effort by Democrats to prevent the implementation of laws requiring voters to present a photo ID when casting their ballots. The common sense measure has the support of the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Young voters are tuning out the 2012 presidential campaign and fewer have registered to vote than four years ago, when young adults were a key element of Barack Obama’s coalition. But several factors could limit Mitt Romney’s ability to benefit from those trends, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis. The study found, for example, that the drop off in young-voter engagement in this year’s election has been even greater among those who plan to vote Republican than it is among Democrats. At the same time, moderate Republicans of all ages are less engaged.
