I will not be continuing with the company, but wish my colleagues all the best.” Beck, the founder of The Blaze, and Mark Levin, the founder of CRTV, announced their decision on Monday to merge the two companies into “Blaze Media.” Malkin was featured in the video released to promote the merger.

A senior adviser for Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) reportedly resigned on Wednesday evening after the Sacramento Bee “inquired about a $400,000 harassment and retaliation settlement resulting from his time working for Harris at the California Department of Justice.” Larry Wallace, the top Harris staffer who resigned, reportedly “served as the director of the Division of Law Enforcement” at the California Department of Justice while Harris was the Golden State’s attorney general in 2016. Harris reportedly then hired Wallace to be a senior adviser in her Sacramento Senate office. According to the Bee, Danielle Hartley, whom Wallace reportedly

California looks like a lost cause for Republicans, given how Democrats clinched the midterm with a series of new laws. Maybe no big deal, given that California has been a solid blue state for something like 20 years. But are Americans aware of the potential for California vote-rigging to come to their states, making them so blue no conservative will ever be able to win an election? A California political operative, Edward Ring, writing in American Greatness, lays out the coming specter: Come to California to see what’s going to roll out across America in time to

NYPD sends 20 cops to ‘evict’

How many cops does it take to give a one-legged homeless man the boot? Apparently about 20! A contingent of NYPD officers spent two hours Wednesday morning kicking out Thomas Harris, 61, from the Brooklyn plaza where he’d been camped out for weeks. Cops tore down the hovel Harris built from shopping carts and plastic sheeting outside the subway station at Parkside and Ocean avenues, and hauled away about half of his possessions, including some of the hand drums he peddles on the street. The ordeal also involved a pair of FDNY ambulances staffed with EMTs, and several outreach

California mandates solar panels

California lawmakers on Wednesday officially approved a measure that mandates all homes built in the Golden State in 2020 and beyond be solar-powered. The new standards were approved earlier this year and voted on unanimously by the California Building Standards Commission, the Orange County Register reported. Officials heralded the move as a “historical undertaking” that “will be a beacon of light for the rest of the country.” The provisions add an estimated $10,000 to the cost of building a single-family home – including more than $8,400 for installing solar and roughly $1,500 for energy efficiency. Proponents of these requirements, however

It now appears extremely likely that the Prime Minister’s bad Brexit deal will be rejected by Parliament. This is plain for everyone to see following the near constant political chaos that has engulfed the Government and the damaging, historic parliamentary defeats of recent days. If, as expected, the deal is voted down next week in the most important vote for MPs since the Iraq War, Parliament and the whole country will need time and space to consider how we can get ourselves out of the mess created by the Prime Minister and her Government. After weeks of talking with Special Counsel Robert Mueller about Donald Trump´s supposed collusion with Russia, Dr. Jerome Corsi instead filed his own criminal complaint through attorney and former federal prosecutor Larry Klayman on December 3, 2018. We should remember that Klayman already got the prosecution of Cliven Bundy´s family and associates thrown out for similar prosecutorial misconduct, working in support of the Bundys´ excellent Nevada lawyers as legal strategist. Misconduct by the once-great Department of Justice is all too common. The unethical prosecution of former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens stole a U.S. Senate election from the Republicans in 2008

The nation’s farewell to its forty-first president continues with yet another day of ceremonial spectacle, following the state funeral and a national day of mourning that saw the stock exchanges and Postal Service shutting down. The entire process has been incredibly well thought-through featuring impressive visual production values reinforcing the message that we are saying farewell to a giant among presidents. (snip) Today, a deeply resonant train journey will take place, carrying George H.W. Bush’s mortal remains to his final resting place at his presidential library at Texas A&M University in College Station.

U.S. supermarket chain Kroger Co (KR.N) reported quarterly same-store sales that fell just short of analysts’ estimates on Thursday, hit by disruptions caused by the company revamping stores to give more shelf space to its best-selling products. The company’s shares fell nearly 3 percent to $27.80 in premarket trading. Kroger has warned that the remodeling will weigh on sales this year as customers find it harder to locate groceries, but will help drive revenue in the long run. The company said same-store sales, excluding fuel, rose 1.6 percent. Analysts on average had expected a 1.65 percent increase, according to IBES

Vice, Vox, BuzzFeed, HuffPost, and other left-wing digital outlets are struggling in an increasingly competitive marketplace. While smaller left-wing outlets, like Mic, Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter, Refinery29, Rookie, and the anti-Trump Weekly Standard are either closed, closing, or going through massive overhauls to stop the bleeding of red ink, the big players on the left – the aforementioned Vice, Vox, and Buzzfeed – no longer look like sure things. Even HuffPost is looking at adding a paywall. Vanity Fair writes that these “companies, which once heralded the dawn of a new media age—replete with massive valuations, large fund-raising hauls, and

As with the passing of former President Ronald Reagan, the media are in full praise mode following the death of former President George Herbert Walker Bush. Where were they when the one-term President needed them? In Reagan´s case, even his haters grudgingly acknowledged the overall success of his presidency. As for Bush 41, the media´s praise of Bush´s "grace" and "class" serves to indirectly to attack President Donald Trump by showing the contrast between the two Republicans´ styles and characters. But what did much of the liberal media think and say about Bush at the time? When Bush announced his

Well, there’s this, too: New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd is finally sick of them. The former first couple opened a 13-city speaking tour late last month with a premiere event in Toronto (why they think anyone in Canada wants to hear them whine

President Trump is taking heat from all sides for sticking with Saudi Arabia even though it’s a sure thing that the royal family over there had a hand in the murder of Khashoggi. They don’t know Trump. Trump’s view is the big picture, which shows that it’s mostly scoundrels out there in the big world, so there isn’t much choice when it comes to finding a partner. This doesn’t mean we have to be pals. It is simply a better and safer world to have the bastards on our side. Trump knows this from his years as a worldly New York businessman,

Immigration Reform: Just how much do non-U. S. citizens cost the rest of the country? Plenty, if you believe census data looking at welfare and the uninsured in America. Those data show that noncitizens are almost twice as likely to get welfare benefits, and more than three times as likely to be uninsured. Recently, the Center for Immigration Studies poured through Census poverty and welfare data and found that a shockingly high percentage of noncitizens are getting some sort of welfare benefit from the federal government.

Ruth Graham, in an article published on Slate, demonstrated one of the worst vices of American media. Specifically, she sought to provoke and entertain the audience she wrote for by unnecessarily criticizing Sully H. W. Bush, the service dog to George Bush, the 41st President of the United states. As the photo of Sully resting in front of 41’s casket reached into every American’s home and phone, Ruth felt her greatest contribution would be to point out Sully was simply an employee, and not a beloved family pet. Furthermore, she sought to do what many in her camp might do,

EMMANUEL Macron’s leadership is hanging by a thread as left-wing groups within the French parliament discuss launching a no confidence vote against the president. Mr Macron and Prime Minister Edouard Philippe’s popularity ratings hit new lows as the “yellow vest” protests gathered speed, according to an Ifop-Fiducial poll. The young centrist has been hit by a wave of popular discontent over a planned eco-tax rise, which quickly morphed into a broader rebuke of his aloof leadership style and tough policies. Mr Macron’s satisfaction rating fell to 23 per cent in November, down six percentage points on the previous month, the

At the dawn of the information age, when dumb terminals began appearing on desks and the din of dot matrix printers deafened all and sundry, every enterprise of consequence employed a misanthrope charged with the care and feeding of these machines. Occasionally, this reclusive individual reluctantly submitted to questions about the output of the equipment. His response to such impertinent queries usually consisted of word salads heavily seasoned with jargon and topped off with a surly suggestion that it was just too complicated to explain to mere users. This is eerily similar to the way Democrats relate to the voters.
