Vox.com co-founder Matthew Yglesias defended a group of left-wing Antifa members terrorizing Tucker Carlson’s wife. On Wednesday night, a mob of about 20 members of a group called Smash Racism, which is part of the left-wing terrorist group Antifa, gathered outside the home of Fox News star Tucker Carlson. He was preparing to go on the air at the time and not at home, but his wife was, and according to video posted by the group itself, this was much more than a protest. Using a bullhorn, the group chanted threats: “Racist sc***ag, leave town.” A second chant was even more

Look, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office sucks. It screwed up in 2000, got caught breaking the law by deleting ballots in 2016, and is in full-scale chaos right now. Oft-embattled Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes says she has no idea how many provisional and absentee ballots are left to be counted in her office. But as it stands, there is zero evidence that the Democratic Party is, in any way, trying to "steal" this election from Republicans. That sort of rhetoric erodes the public´s (admittedly low) trust in the validity of American elections.

Pollsters on Tuesday avoided their disastrous 2016 election forecasts by correctly predicting that Democrats would regain control of the House, though botching some important statewide races. (Snip) There were glaring survey errors in 2018 as turnout models over-counted Democrats. By Tuesday night, Republicans had won important Senate and governor races. Democratic legal teams kicked into action Thursday in Florida, demanding a recount they insist will ultimately declare Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson the winner and with defeated Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum hedging his concession. Mr. Nelson had already signaled his intention to fight the results, but Mr. Gillum’s surprise announcement further roils the electoral waters in the Sunshine State. Republican former Rep. Ron DeSantis, a strong ally of President Trump, beat Mr. Gillum, the left-wing mayor of Tallahassee, in the unofficial results and Mr. Gillum conceded shortly before midnight last Tuesday. The Florida governor’s race is heading to a machine recount and the U.S. Senate race will face a lengthier manual recount after returns from Broward County on Thursday pushed Democrats Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson closer to their Republican opponents Ron DeSantis and Gov. Rick Scott. At the same time, Democrat Nikki Fried took the lead over Republican Matt Caldwell by 575 votes in the race for agriculture commissioner, which is also headed to a manual recount.

The attorney generalship of Jeff Sessions was over before it began when he foolishly recused himself from the Russian probe. This allowed Deep Stater Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special counsel. Sessions got played. He traded two small dimes for that big nickel. His mistake was colossal because it allowed Democrats to strong arm the new administration with a special counsel.(Tweets)Bully Boy Mueller´s mission was threefold. 1. Mueller had to cover up Obama spying on political opponents. 2. Mueller had to spy on President Trump using the investigation as an excuse to seize the records of Trump´s lawyer.

There is a widespread belief that Hollywood is only interested in making money, and it is far too simplistic a view. There is something they value much more than money - and that is ideology. And not just any ideology. The entertainment industry has been liberal for a long time, but in recent years it has become increasingly and stridently intolerant. Trump’s election seems to have tipped them over the line into insanity. Virtually every day reveals a new celebrity tweeting, speaking, producing or starring in something that is finally going to expose just how awful POTUS is and promote

Team Trump is considering Chris Christie to replace fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions — and the former New Jersey governor was at the White House on Thursday morning, according to multiple reports. President Trump canned Sessions on Wednesday after spending months pillorying him for recusing himself from the Justice Department’s probe of Russian election meddling and possible collusion with the president’s campaign. Christie was axed as the head of Trump’s transition team, reportedly at the behest of Jared Kushner, whose father, Charles, spent time in a federal pen after he was prosecuted on tax evasion

Twenty-eight-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pulled off an amazing feat. No, not emerging victorious in her candidacy to represent New York’s 14th District in Congress, an area that favors Democrats by almost 30 points. Ocasio-Cortez’s real accomplishment was how she managed to navigate several months of intense media scrutiny without ever formulating a coherent response to the many interviewers who asked her how she intends to bridge the financial gap between her hopes and dreams and their 13-figure price tags. In this high-wire act, she had the help of some willing accomplices in the press.

President Trump´s new attorney general will enforce the law. Washington is shocked. In July 2016, he took Jimmy the Weasel to task in a column for USA Today, headlined, "I would indict Hillary Clinton." The new general, Matthew Whitaker, wrote, "According to FBI Director James Comey’s statement on Tuesday, former secretary of State Hillary Clinton could have been charged with violating several different code sections, and he detailed the evidence that supports bringing criminal charges. "Yet, Director Comey’s judgment was that ´no reasonable prosecutor´ would bring the case. I disagree.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said Thursday that the U.S. is on the "verge" of a constitutional crisis because of the forced resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "I think it’s a big mistake to let Sessions go," Manchin, who was the only Democratic senator to vote to confirm the former attorney general, said on "CBS This Morning." He added that the U.S. is on the verge of a crisis because of the potential ramifications his ouster could have on special counsel Robert Mueller´s investigation into Russian election interference.
