President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that would allow his administration to target individuals or nations who seek to interfere in U.S. elections, sending a signal to Russia and others following efforts to meddle in his own election. The order comes two months before Americans go to the polls in elections that will determine control of Congress, potentially dramatically reshaping the balance of power in Washington. The sanctions would target not just foreign meddling in physical election infrastructure, but propaganda and other tactics, following efforts by a Kremlin-backed outfit use Facebook and other social media to try to create divisions

New text messages between ex-FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page reveal others were "leaking like mad" in the run-up to the Trump-Russia collusion probe, according to new communications between the former lovers obtained exclusively by Fox News. A lengthy exchange dated Dec. 15, 2016 appears to reveal a potential leak operation for “political” purposes. “Oh, remind me to tell you tomorrow about the times doing a story about the rnc hacks,” Page texted Strzok. “And more than they already did? I told you Quinn told me they pulling out all the stops on some story…” Strzok replied.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s credibility stands in shreds just hours before Thursday’s primary, as fresh evidence puts his fingerprints all over what he insists are just a series of remarkable coincidences. As The Post’s Anna Sanders and Bruce Golding report, a top Cuomo campaign official emailed this paper trying to plant a news story that mirrored the same points contained in that dirty-trick mailer accusing opponent Cynthia Nixon of being “silent on anti-Semitism.” That would be the very same mailer the notoriously hands-on governor insisted he knew nothing about and hadn’t even seen,

Life has apparently imitated art for one romance writer. In a twist of irony so devious it would have turned Agatha Christie green with envy, Oregon chef Daniel Brophy was found shot to death nearly seven years after his wife of 27 years penned an essay titled “How to Murder Your Husband.” Nancy Crampton-Brophy, the writer of sensuous mysteries such as “Hell on the Heart” and “The Wrong Husband,” was arrested for murder on Sept. 5 — more than three months after the death of her spouse.

Barack Obama knew about the Benghazi Consulate terror attacks 90 minutes after they began on 9-11. The attack in Benghazi took place in two waves at the consulate and lasted several hours. Libyan “looters” (terrorists) found the body of Ambassador Chris Stevens hours after the attack began. FOX News Special Report said the president knew about the attacks three hours after they began. Obama went to bed. US military contractors battled Islamist extremists for 13 hours while Obama slept. Today is the sixth anniversary of the Islamist attacks on the US consulate in Benghazi. A brutal new ad will hit Democrat Joe Radinovich in Minnesota over his history with criminal convictions, license suspensions, and having been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Breitbart News has learned. The ad, from the House GOP leadership-backed Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), is perhaps one of the most brutal this cycle. It literally shows an illegal aluminum foil drug-smoking device to illustrate how Radinovich was charged by police back on Feb. 4, 2005, with possession of drug paraphernalia. But that’s not all:

September 11, 2001 began as any other day for Joanne ‘Jojo’ Capestro. Despite not feeling well, she went to work in her office on the 87th floor of the World Trade Center’s North Tower. Not long after arriving, Capestro, then aged 39, was planning to go downstairs with a co-worker but stopped because her desk phone rang. While on the call, hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower – six floors above Capestro’s office for the May Davis Group where she was an assistant secretary. After finding the only available stairwell exit, Capestro rushed down the 87

Florence remained a dangerous Category 4 hurricane on Wednesday morning after slowing slightly to 130mph overnight and it is predicted to stall even more before scraping down the US east coast and moving inland before the weekend. Conservatives have long complained about schools´ use of Howard Zinn´s A People´s History of the United States. But, a popular AP U.S. History textbook, The American Pageant, written by Thomas Bailey, David Kennedy, and Lizabeth Cohen, is also riddled with inaccuracies. That´s according to Daniel Oliver, chairman of the board of the Education and Research Institute. “Almost every other page” has liberal bias, Oliver charged during an interview with Townhall on Tuesday. His "favorite" example, he said, is the book´s section on Alger Hiss. It´s well known that Hiss was a communist who was supplying information to the Soviet Union,

The extreme hatred for President Trump and Republicans being unceasingly spewed from the Left is having its inevitable result, with an attempted murder of a candidate for Congress that was averted only by the faulty equipment employed by the assassin. The national media have not yet even noted the murder attempt, according to a Google search of the intended victim’s name at 8:37 AM EDT, three days after the incident. In fact, it has taken 2 days for even the local major media to report, as CBS San Francisco did: A man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault and

The eagle perched atop one of the two aerial trucks Andover fire fighters were using to hang a massive American flag — and right around the time of the national moment of silence. A photo showing the bottles in boxes and covered in a blue tarp on a runway in Ceiba was shared widely on social media Tuesday evening. “Although you don’t believe it… almost a million boxes of water that were never delivered to the villages,” posted Abdiel Santana, a photographer working for a Puerto Rican state police agency who took the pictures. “Is there anyone who can explain this?”

Spiegel Online and Die Zeit said the report they obtained - commissioned by the German Bishops Conference and researched by three universities - concludes that more than half of the victims were 13 or younger and most were boys. Every sixth case involved rape and at least 1,670 clergy were involved, both weeklies reported. Some 969 abuse victims were altar boys, Die Zeit wrote.

I came to the conclusion decades ago that the cartoonist’s artistic device of caricature was virtually off-limits when it comes African-Americans and other victim groups as designated by the Left. Caricature seizes on some recognizable physical characteristics of appearance and exaggerates them, and nothing may ever be exaggerated and mocked when it comes to official victim groups, even when the specific individual is wealthy and successful beyond the dreams of ordinary mortals. And I was right. In fact, it seems that American cartoonists understand this point better than I do

A trail of evidence appearing in major news outlets suggests a campaign to undermine President Trump from within the government through illegal leaks of classified information, and then to thwart congressional investigators probing the disclosures. On Monday the Justice Department released a handful of texts and other documents that included two former officials known for their anti-Trump bias – Peter Strzok of the FBI and Lisa Page of the Department of Justice – discussing the DOJ’s “media leak strategy.” Strzok now says, through his lawyer, that that strategy was aimed at preventing leaks.

A Florida sheriff announced nine jail drug-smuggling arrests Tuesday, after paper mailed to inmates tested positive for a synthetic marijuana called K-2 and synthetic amphetamines. But the latest drug sweeping the county’s jail — one available for purchase in any grocery store — was even more surprising than the inmates’ elaborate drug-smuggling operations. “Most popular, and they really like this better than the K-2, is Raid and Roach Motel,” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said at a press conference, holding up a can of Raid and a box of Roach Motel. “Did you hear me? Democrats are poised to block a Thursday committee vote to advance the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, placed Kavanaugh’s nomination on Thursday’s schedule. But Democrats will likely use a committee rule that allows them to keep the nomination on hold for at least another week. That means a Judiciary Committee vote on Kavanaugh isn’t likely to happen until Sept. 20 at the earliest. “I expect that the minority will request that the nomination be held, so a vote is unlikely on Thursday,” George Hartmann, a spokesman for the Senate Judiciary

Even as California forged its own path for years to battle global warming, pressing forward whether Washington agreed or not, skeptics have persistently scolded that it is just a state — it can’t set policy for the nation, much less the world. If California ever had a moment to prove them wrong, it is now. At the international climate summit Gov. Jerry Brown will kick off Wednesday in San Francisco, the state is playing a role none ever has, pushing the rest of the country to join other nations in enforcing a landmark agreement on climate change

Today, we got some anything rather impressive news: U.S. small business optimism surged to a record in August as the tax cuts and deregulation

But the only thing Obama deserves credit for is making it easy for Trump to undo Obama´s anti-growth policies. Let´s see if we have this right. For eight years, President Obama presided over the worst economic recovery in modern times. For six years, he blamed Republicans in Congress for thwarting his spending agenda and hampering growth.
