World leaders are “concerned” about how a Donald Trump presidency would affect relationships between their countries and the United States, Ambassador Caroline Kennedy said today in Japan. “I think people are concerned,” Kennedy, the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, told ABC News. “What they’re concerned about is the future, and so what does this mean for the American alliance.” Kennedy, who said she hasn’t followed the presidential campaign closely, pointed to the case of Japan, saying the alliance between the two countries has grown to its strongest point in the past seven decades. “We’ve seen this alliance go from 70 years,

Peeing in the street, loitering, littering, drinking alcohol out of a bagged bottle and other quality of life crimes are to be decriminalized in New York City. Under bills expected to be signed by Mayor Bill de Blasio soon, police will no longer automatically treat such crimes as criminal offenses, but instead serve civil summonses to pay a fine in court. But not everyone is happy. Councilman Steve Matteo (R-Staten Island) said: ´We don’t want people to think it’s okay to urinate in public. (Photo) ´We want there to be real consequences because there’s a big difference between a criminal fine

Let’s be clear about our nation’s plight: At this moment, American voters face a choice between two historically corrupt, dishonest, and incompetent politicians. One of them helped create the most dangerous foreign-policy environment since the Cold War, a world in which our nation faces the largest and most savage jihadist fighting force in modern times, a re-arming and potentially nuclear Iran, and the re-emergence of threats from Russia and China. The other would respond to that crisis with a collection of announced policies that range from the insane (intentionally killing women and children to punish terrorists, sending Exxon to pacify

The State Department´s report on Hillary Clinton´s insouciant attitude toward cyber-security would finish any other American politician. She ignored the law, flouted it repeatedly, and didn´t care; folks are in prison for less. The only thing that´s holding her up at this point is her Amen Corner in the media, most of whom know her personally and who long for a Clinton Restoration in order to reclaim their places as house courtiers. But 2016 is not 1992 or even 2008, and retinue of retainers is as long in the tooth as the former first lady herself. They can´t protect her

Hillary Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon conducted a number of interviews on Wednesday in reaction to the State Department Inspector General’s scathing rebuke of Clinton’s private e-mail account and server, but none measured up to FNC’s Special Report host Bret Baier and his calm, thorough dismantling of Fallon. Baier jumped right into the substance by showing video of Clinton repeatedly claiming her e-mail server was legal before noting that “[a]s you know, the Inspector General´s report says something completely different” and providing an extensive quote from the IG about Clinton having failed to seek approval and notify the State Department.

Republican presidential nominees normally run with one arm tied behind their back. Bob Dole shied away from discussing Bill Clinton’s scandals. John McCain ducked the subject of Barack Obama’s association with Jeremiah Wright. Mitt Romney dropped any mention of Benghazi in his final debate. Donald Trump suffers no such inhibitions. He is swinging hard at Hillary with both hands, forcing her to retreat into a telling silence. “I am going to let him run his campaign however he chooses,” she said. “I have nothing to say about him and how he is running his campaign.” Accused of rape by Trump, Bill Clinton

One day prior to Donald Trump formally clinching the GOP nomination, House Speaker Paul Ryan launched a new line of attack against the Party’s standard bearer selected by GOP voters. During a Wednesday meeting with reporters on Capitol Hill, the House Speaker, once again, disavowed Trump’s campaign pledge to enforce U.S. immigration law. Ryan also indicated that he would not include Trump’s signature policy platforms on trade or immigration in the House GOP 2017 policy agenda. As the Washington Post reported: Ryan was pressed on whether the House was preparing plans for the mass deportation of illegal
