SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- A sullen Cam Newton was not remotely interested in speaking with the media after the Panthers lost Super Bowl 50 and abruptly left the podium in the middle of his media session.Newton spent two-and-a-half minutes answering questions and basically pouting before standing up and leaving. In fairness to Cam, you could hear the Broncos celebrating loudly over a thin barrier. But he's not doing himself any favors with the way he handled an admittedly difficult time.

CONCORD, N.H. — Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright on Saturday said there was a "special place in hell" for women who backed Sen. Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton in Tuesday´s primary. Albright, who served as secretary of state under former President Bill Clinton, came here to make the pitch for fellow former Secretary of State Clinton. During her remarks, Albright made it clear to women in attendance in the Granite State´s capital city — especially those backing Bernie Sanders — that they need to help out Clinton because they have a duty to do so. The former secretary repeated

Few people will talk about this, and fewer will even want to acknowledge it, but what Donald Trump did before the debate even began shows the measure of a real man’s worth. At the beginning of the ABC debate, each of the candidates were being introduced in a specific order. The first name called to the stage was Chris Christie. The applause was loud and lingered through the time when Martha Raddatz called the second candidate Ben Carson. Dr. Carson did not hear his name called (easy to understand why when you listen to the video) and stood in the entry-way. The

Beyonce issued a strong political statement with her halftime show at Super Bowl 50 tonight with backing dancers dressed as members of armed rights group the Black Panthers. The superstar brought the dancers on for her new single Formation which is being widely touted as a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement. At one point during the song, the supporting performers formed an ´X´ on the field - thought to reference black rights campaigner Malcolm X. Beyonce was widely expected to make a political statement during the halftime show which was headlined by Coldplay and also featured Bruno Mars. Anticipation had

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said there is a “double standard” when she is criticized for shouting by “male pundits” because she is a woman. Host Jake Tapper asked, “A lot of your supporters were very upset this last week when some older male pundits suggested that you are a shouter. Now, I would observe that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) doesn’t exactly talk in a whisper. But that said, do you think that the coverage of you is sexist? Do you think that when male pundits say things like that, they have a

During Saturday’s Republican presidential candidate debate in New Hampshire, Donald Trump was asked: Mr. Trump, you´ve heard the argument from many of the candidates on this stage that you´re not a true conservative. Tell the voters watching tonight why you are. He replied: Well, I think I am, and to me, I view the word conservative as a derivative of the word “conserve.” We want to conserve our money. We want to conserve our wealth. We want to conserve. We want to be smart. We want to be smart where we go, where we spend, how we spend. We want to conserve our

Super Bowl ads are practically an event unto themselves. And when they unfold on the screen this Sunday, viewers will see a reflection of America´s diversity. While Hollywood faces a backlash over an all-white slate of acting nominees for this year’s Oscars, several of the TV spots airing during the big game will feature actors, athletes and characters who represent a range of ethnicity, generations, and sexual orientations. (Snip) And among the images of masculinity showcased in an ad for Axe´s grooming products, will be a man dancing in heels. “Super Bowl advertisers get that as the face of America
