The CDC is over counting the number of China coronavirus cases in an apparent effort to keep the country shut down throughout the summer. This fraudulent activity was uncovered by the far-left Atlantic proving even a dead clock is right twice a day. On May 21, 2020, the Atlantic reported that the CDC was over counting the number of cases of individuals with the China coronavirus: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is conflating the results of two different types of coronavirus tests, distorting several important metrics and providing the country with an inaccurate picture

We already knew to a certain extent that they were cooking the books. Obamabot holdovers learned from the best, and they tend to do that kind of stuff.

Fauci gave away the CDC's objective more than four months ago. Anyone paying attention saw it.

This has been known for a while I guess the news is GAO reported it? The MORE troubling news is they are now including the POSSIBLE infection in their count. In Texas, for each positive case they count SIXTEEN possibles (17 in total). There is a video from Collin County city council discussing it.

There were reports of CDC employees in tears with the Trump election so no surprise.

Only people who "have" the infection are relevant in terms of resource use, hospitalization, ICU load, and mortality. People who were exposed in the past based on having antibodies but who are not infectious now are like driving by looking in the rear view mirror.
The scope of "fake news" in the age of Trump just keeps growing by the day. Are there any unbiased government officials still working in this administration?

One: It doesn't matter how many get infected, what matters is "who counts the infected"?
Two: If the virus does not have any symptoms then the labs that "analyze" your samples can say report absolutely anything they want, like "lets report one of every fourth as positive". They can create millions infected out of thin air.

A few days after the Trump's inauguration, NPR did an interview with a female government drone (from the EPA I think) who stated that there were hundreds of Obama and Clinton era holdover bureaucrats in federal positions ready to oppose Trump by any means possible, large or small.
It's too bad that this administration didn't apparently hear this and take action.

The real news isn't a goobernment agency lying to us. That's as common as the sun rising in the east. The shocker is an uber leftist pro goobernment, totally socialist mag discovered the lie and reported it. I'm still speechless. This is like mayor Lightweight in Chicago getting called out by the Chicago Times for all the killings she allows in her city.

Here's the actual small print from the CDC website.
the data presented on this page were aggregate data reported to CDC from state health departments and territorial jurisdictions and represented all laboratory tests by state. Currently, there are two types of tests available—viral tests (tests for current infection) and antibody tests (tests for past infection). These tests often have different uses, which can present challenges for interpretation. Although antibody tests only account for a small proportion of cumulative testing nationally at this time, it has recently become more widely available, and CDC is working to differentiate those tests from the viral tests. We will report this information, differentiated by test type in future updates to this website.
The states just send them the aggregate and they report both types as "cases". This is clearly causing the numbers to spike for cases that shouldn't be counted in "the curve" that indicates hospital capacity and, indirectly, the need to reverse the reopening.

The headline is misleading. We don't know the CDC's "intent" even though the effect of keeping things locked down is the same.
"the CDC is making, at best, a debilitating mistake: combining test results"
This much is true. As they have shown before, either the CDC is grossly incompetent or they are being deliberately misleading for some purpose. A high school statistics student could tell you that the two results should NEVER be combined. They measure two very different things. A positive antibody test could reveal previous or current infection. The previous infection shouldn't be added in to the current case count and the current infection can only be confirmed by the presence of the virus using the other test. The CDC botched testing early on and it seems like they are raising their incompetence to new heights. At this point, heads should be rolling. These false results are driving unnecessary fear, economic damage, and political damage and someone should be held accountable.
If this is being done deliberately, they should be held criminally liable.

Finally. Proof for what we were all thinking or suspecting. I recall Dr. Scarf getting ahead of this curve several weeks ago, saying she didn't believe the CDC. It matters very little if the count was the issue or the severity of the disease. CDC is a government agency, therefore not to be believed.

I am trying to think of a 3 letter government agency that I have not lost all faith in over the last four years....can't think of one.
Oddly the one I trust the most now, is the one I used to be very uneasy about - the NSA.
