President Joe Biden scooped up endorsements from at least 15 members of the Kennedy political family during a campaign stop Thursday as he aims to undermine Donald Trump and marginalize the candidacy of independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Kerry Kennedy, a daughter of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, niece of former President John F. Kennedy and sister of the current presidential candidate, delivered the endorsements in Philadelphia by calling Biden “my hero.” “We want to make crystal clear our feelings that the best way forward for America is to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for four more years,” she said.

When JFK was elected, my very devote Catholic grandfather was so happy. He remembered the anti-Catholic KKK and how in the South they had campaigned against Gov. Alfred Smith. He was a huge Kennedy supporter. My mother was not. I used to wonder why and then when I got older and read about Joe Kennedy and the other Kennedy men, I understood why. There is only one decent Kennedy in my book, and that was the late Eunice K. Shriver. The rest of them are not good people.

Why does anyone care what anyone from the Kennedy family thinks about the election? They are all just a bunch of has beens or never was who trade on the family name and memories of long dead politicians from over 50 years ago. They are irrelevant. At least RFK Jr was in Congress and is actually doing something.

The Kennedy family still gets political appointments during a Democrat adminstration - Caroline as Ambassador to Australia (formerly Japan during Obama's term), Joseph Kennedy, special envoy to Northern Ireland, Victoria Kennedy (Teddy's widow), Ambassador to Austria. I'm guessing that others are sprinkled through the Biden administration either burrowed into the bureacracy or appointed to the hundreds (or thousands) of governmental committees, boards, "special" assignments and so on. They're not about to upset that gravy train with supporting RFK Jr's lost cause.

The issue of presidential immunity is being tested in the DC political Lawfare case against President Donald Trump. As the Jack Smith prosecution claims President Trump tried to “overturn the results of the 2020 election,” the issue of presidential actions intended to secure & protect the legitimacy of election outcomes becomes a focus. The legal counsel for President Trump has stated any action by the president to ensure election security falls within official acts, and is therefore subject to immunity from prosecution. The special counsel claims the act of reviewing an election outcome is a private benefit to the president and not part of presidential immunity.

Former White House attorney Ty Cobb said he is “almost certain” former President Trump’s federal election interference case won’t be tried before the November election, after the Supreme Court heard arguments related to it Thursday. “So, I think it benefits Trump in the sense that it’s almost certain that this case will not get tried before the election, in my view. So it benefits him in that regard,” Cobb told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.” On the other hand, nothing that the justices are going to do is going to benefit his case, other than the delay,” he continued, adding the justices won’t buy Trump’s “absolute immunity argument.”

Some of the signs say "pro-Palestine", "ceasefire now" and "end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza". But these benign statements hide a far more malignant agenda, the end of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, the end of America as the world's leading power and the end of democracy and the free market economy. Even if there were a unilateral ceasefire, accompanied by massive humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, many of these protests would continue, because Gaza is merely an excuse for a much wider agenda: to destroy Israel and destroy America.

Even with a burst of new weapons and ammunition, it is unlikely Ukraine will immediately recover after months of setbacks.
